The 2019 New Holland Canadian Junior Curling Championships was held from January 19 to 27 at the Art Hauser Centre in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. The winners represented Canada at the 2019 World Junior Curling Championships in Liverpool, Nova Scotia. Prince Albert, Saskatchewan
Prince Albert is the third-largest city in Saskatchewan, Canada, after Saskatoon and Regina. It is situated near the centre of the province on the banks of the North Saskatchewan River. Tanner Horgan
Tanner Horgan (born February 12, 1998 in Sudbury, Ontario) is a Canadian curler. He currently skips his own team. Career Juniors As a bantam aged curler, Horgan won three Northern Ontario titles (2010, 2013 and 2015). In 2012, he won a provincial elementary school championship for all of Ontario, representing MacLeod Public School. Horgan won his first Northern Ontario junior title in 2014, earning him and teammates Nicholas Servant, brother Jacob and Maxime Blais the right to represent the region at the 2014 Canadian Junior Curling Championships. There, he skipped the team to a 5-5 finish, missing the playoffs. Desmond Young (born March 6, 2000, in Frederiction, New Brunswick) is a Canadian curler from Banff, Alberta. He is currently the third of the Alberta Golden Bears men's curling team in university curling and on the World Curling Tour. Young will represent Canada at the 2021 World Junior Curling Championships in Beijing, China. Curling career Young made his Canadian national championship debut at the 2019 New Holland Canadian Juniors after defeating Evan Van Amsterdam 8–7 in the Alberta junior provincial final.
