2019 Canada Open (badminton)
The 2019 Canada Open (officially known as the Yonex Canada Open 2019 for sponsorship reasons) was a badminton tournament which took place at Markin-MacPhail Centre in Canada from 2 to 7 July 2019 and had a total purse of $75,000. Tournament The 2019 Canada Open was the third Super 100 tournament of the 2019 BWF World Tour and also part of the Canada Open championships, which has been held since 1957. This tournament was organized by the Badminton Alberta and sanctioned by the BWF and Badminton Canada. Venue This international tournament was held at Markin-MacPhail Centre in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. WinSport
The Calgary Olympic Development Association (CODA), operating as WinSport, is a non-profit organization based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada whose mandate is to provide training and development to Canada's Olympic athletes, and to maintain the facilities built for the 1988 Winter Olympics. is a Japanese badminton player. He graduated from the Saitama Sakae high school, and was part of the Unysis team since 2017. He won his first international title at the 2018 Yonex / K&D Graphics International tournament. Career Watanabe started his badminton career when he was four years old, entered the badminton club under the influence of his sister. Parupalli Kashyap (born 8 September 1986) is an Indian badminton player. A former World No.6, he trains at Gopichand Badminton Academy. He was awarded the Arjuna Award by the Government of India in 2012. He created history by reaching the quarter-finals of men's singles at the 2012 London Olympics, being the first male player from India to do so. Prannoy Haseena Sunil Kumar (born 17 July 1992), also known as H. S. Prannoy, is an Indian badminton player who currently trains at the Gopichand Badminton Academy in Hyderabad.
