Wang Tzu-wei
Wang Tzu-wei (Chinese: 王子維; born 27 February 1995) is a Taiwanese badminton player. He won his first international title at the 2014 New Zealand Open tournament. Wang competed at the 2017 Summer Universiade, where he won the gold medals in the men's singles and team events. He also competed at the 2018 Asian Games and 2020 Summer Olympics. 2013 Asian Junior Badminton Championships – Boys Singles
The Boys' Singles tournament of the 2013 Asian Junior Badminton Championships was held from July 10–14 in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia. The defending champion of the last edition was Kento Momota from Japan. Thammasin Sitthikom of Thailand who standing in the top seeds was defeated by the No.5 seeded Soo Teck Zhi of Malaysia in the semifinals, while the second seeded Soong Joo Ven of Malaysia fell in the quarterfinals to Jeon Hyuk-jin of South Korea. Heo Kwang-hee
Heo Kwang-hee (; born 11 August 1995) is a South Korean badminton player who was educated at the Dankook University. He was selected to join the national team in 2012, and joined the Samsung Electro-Mechanics team in 2014. Heo was the bronze medalists at the 2012 World Junior Championships in the boys' singles and team event, and Asian Junior Championships in the team event. Heo later won the boys' singles and mixed team gold medals at the 2013 World Junior Championships, and the mixed team silver medal at the Asian Junior Championships. In the senior level tournament, Heo was the semi-finalists at the 2017 U.S. and 2018 New Zealand Open. He competed at the 2018 Asian Games and at the 2020 Summer Olympics, is best known for upsetting top-seeded Kento Momota in the group stage of the latter tournament. Indoor Stadium Huamark ( th, อินดอร์ สเตเดียม หัวหมาก, , ) is an indoor sporting arena, located in Bangkok, Thailand. The original capacity of the arena is 15,000 spectators and it was built in 1966 for the 5th Asian Games. Ramenskoye (russian: Ра́менское, ) is a town and the administrative center of Ramensky District in Moscow Oblast, Russia, located southeast of Moscow. is a Japanese badminton player. He won a silver medal in the men's singles at the 2017 Summer Universiade and a bronze medal at the 2018 Asian Games. Nishimoto was part of Japan winning team at the 2012 Asian Junior Championships and at the 2017 Asia Mixed Team Championships. Badminton At The 2020 Summer Olympics – Men's Singles
The men's singles badminton tournament at the 2020 Summer Olympics took place from 24 July to 2 August 2021 at the Musashino Forest Sport Plaza at Tokyo. A total of 41 players from 36 nations actually competed at the tournament. Viktor Axelsen of Denmark won his first Olympic gold, defeating defending Olympic champion Chen Long from China. He became the first non-Asian — specifically Danish — to win Olympic badminton men's singles since Poul-Erik Høyer Larsen in 1996. Anthony Sinisuka Ginting of Indonesia won bronze by defeating four-time Olympian Kevin Cordón of Guatemala. He became the first Youth Olympic badminton medalist to win a medal at the Olympics, having also won bronze in 2014. Background This was the 8th appearance of the event as a full medal event.
