Jazz Janewattananond
Atiwit "Jazz" Janewattananond ( th, อติวิชญ์ "แจ๊ส" เจนวัฒนานนท์, born 26 November 1995) is a Thai professional golfer who plays on both the Asian and European Tours. Professional career Janewattananond turned professional in December 2010. In September 2011 he played in his first Japan Golf Tour event, the 2011 Asia-Pacific Panasonic Open, where he made the cut and finished tied for 65th. Janewattananond achieved his first career win on the Asian Tour in February 2017 at the Bashundhara Bangladesh Open. He won again during the 2018 season at the Queen's Cup in his home county, Thailand. He also qualified for the 2018 Open Championship, but failed to make the cut. In January 2019, Janewattananond won the SMBC Singapore Open by two shots, a tournament co-sanctioned by the Japan Tour and the Asian Tour. 2019 Japan Golf Tour
The 2019 Japan Golf Tour season was played from 17 January to 8 December. The season consisted of 25 official money events, mostly in Japan. Other than the four majors, which are played outside Japan, there was one event played in Singapore and one event in South Korea. The SMBC Singapore Open was co-sanctioned by the Asian Tour. The Shinhan Donghae Open was co-sanctioned by the Asian Tour and the Korean Tour. The Zozo Championship was co-sanctioned by the PGA Tour (part of the 2019–20 PGA Tour season), the first ever such co-sanctioning. Volvo China Open
The Volvo China Open is a men's golf tournament that has been held annually in China since 1995. The event is organised by the China Golf Association and has been co-sanctioned by the European Tour since 2004. It has also featured as part of the Asian Tour, the OneAsia Tour, the China Tour and the Asia Golf Circuit. History The first event was played in 1995 as the China Open and featured on the Asia Golf Circuit. Raúl Fretes was the inaugural champion. The following year the event moved to the Asian Tour's schedule and continued to through 2008. The event joined the European Tour in 2004. Stephen Dodd won the first edition on the European Tour. Sadom Kaewkanjana (; born 6 July 1998) is a Thai professional golfer who plays on the Asian Tour where he has won twice. Kaewkanjana won his first Asian Tour event in 2019 at the Bangabandhu Cup Golf Open which made him the fastest qualifying school graduate to win on the Asian Tour. In 2021, he won three times on the All Thailand Golf Tour, including the Thailand Open, and led the Order of Merit. Stephen Gallacher
Stephen James Gallacher (born 1 November 1974) is a Scottish professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. Early life and amateur career Gallacher was born in Dechmont, West Lothian and is the nephew of former European Ryder Cup captain Bernard Gallacher and cousin of Sky Sports news presenter Kirsty Gallacher. He won the 1994 European Amateur and a couple of important amateur tournaments in Britain. He played in a victorious Walker Cup side in 1995 and turned professional later that year. Professional career Gallacher first played on the European Tour in 1996, but struggled to begin with. Hero Indian Open
The Indian Open, titled for sponsorship reasons as the Hero Indian Open since 2011, is the national open golf championship of India, organised by the Indian Golf Union. Founded in 1964, it was added to the Asia Golf Circuit schedule in 1970. In 1998 it became an event on the rival Omega Tour (known as the Asian Tour since 2004). Scott Robert Hend (born 1973) is an Australian professional golfer who has played on a number of the world's main tours. He is renowned as a long hitter. Professional career Hend turned professional in 1997 and joined the PGA Tour of Australasia. He has since played on most of the major golf tours around the world. He has won three times in Australia, and was the inaugural winner of the Von Nida Tour Order of Merit in 2003. He has also won on the Canadian Tour, at the 2002 Victoria Open. Zach Murray
Zach Murray (born 29 March 1997) is an Australian professional golfer who currently plays on the European Tour, Asian Tour and the PGA Tour of Australasia. Early life and amateur career Murray was born and grew up in Wodonga, Victoria, Australia. He was brought up in a non-golfing family, but learned to take up the game at the age of 13. He had notable success as an amateur, including becoming the second-youngest men's winner of the Victorian Amateur Championship in 2013. He also added another victory in China, at the Aaron Baddeley International Junior against a strong international field. This win gave him a start at the 2014 Emirates Australian Open. New Zealand Open
The New Zealand Open is the premier men's golf tournament in New Zealand. It has been a regular fixture on the PGA Tour of Australasia tournament schedule since the 1970s. The 2019 event was the 100th edition of the tournament. Since 2014 it has been held as a pro-am in February or March. 2019 European Tour
The 2019 European Tour was the 48th season of golf tournaments since the European Tour officially began in 1972 and the 11th edition of the Race to Dubai. The Race to Dubai was won by Spain's Jon Rahm, who was also named Golfer of the Year. Scotland's Robert MacIntyre was the Sir Henry Cotton Rookie of the Year. Changes for 2019 Rule changes From January 1, 2019 onwards, tournaments followed the new rules released by the USGA and The R&A which were designed to simplify the rule book and speed up the pace of play.
