Sadom Kaewkanjana
Sadom Kaewkanjana (; born 6 July 1998) is a Thai professional golfer who plays on the Asian Tour where he has won twice. Kaewkanjana won his first Asian Tour event in 2019 at the Bangabandhu Cup Golf Open which made him the fastest qualifying school graduate to win on the Asian Tour. In 2021, he won three times on the All Thailand Golf Tour, including the Thailand Open, and led the Order of Merit. He captured his second Asian Tour title at the 2022 SMBC Singapore Open and earned the spot in the 2022 Open Championship at St Andrews. Asian Tour
The Asian Tour is the principal men's professional golf tour in Asia except for Japan, which has its own Japan Golf Tour, which is also a full member of the International Federation of PGA Tours. Official money events on the tour count for World Golf Ranking points. The Asian Tour is administered from Singapore. It is controlled by a board with a majority of professional golfers, and a Tournament Players Committee of its player members, supported by an executive team. The chairman of the board is the Indonesian businessman Jimmy Masrin. History The Asian PGA was formed in July 1994 at a meeting in Hong Kong attended by PGA representatives from eight countries. The first season of the APGA Omega Tour, as it was known for sponsorship reasons, was played in 1995 and within a few years it had supplanted the existing tour in the region, the Asia Golf Circuit that was run by the Asia Pacific Golf Confederation, as the leading golf tour in Asia outside of Japan. Nitithorn Thippong
Nitithorn Thippong (; born 15 October 1996) is a Thai professional golfer who plays on the Asian Tour. Professional career Thippong turned professional in 2015. In 2018, Thippong got his first win on the Asian Development Tour at the PGM Penang Championship in Penang, Malaysia. He finished the season second in the Order of Merit to gain a place on the Asian Tour for 2019. In 2022, Thippong won his first Asian Tour title at the DGC Open in New Delhi, India. He beat Ajeetesh Sandhu in a playoff. Later in August 2022, Thippong won his second Asian Tour event at the International Series Singapore. Prom Meesawat
Prom Meesawat (born 21 July 1984) is a Thai professional golfer. He won his age group at the World Junior Golf Championships in 1997 and 2002 and was Asia Pacific Junior Champion several times. He won the Thailand Open Amateur Championship in 2001, 2002 and 2003 and was victorious in a professional tournament as a fifteen-year-old amateur. He turned professional in 2004 and joined the Asian Tour. In 2005 he had five top ten finishes on Asian Tour and won a professional event in Thai circuit. His first Asian Tour win came at the 2006 SK Telecom Open in South Korea. In 2012 a string of good results in Asian Tour events that were co-sanctioned with the European Tour earned Meesawat full playing rights on the European Tour for 2013. Ratchanon Chantananuwat (; born 4 March 2007) is a Thai amateur golfer who won the Trust Golf Asian Mixed Cup on the Asian Tour as an amateur in April 2022. He became the youngest golfer to win on a tour recognized by the Official World Golf Ranking at the age of 15 years and 37 days. Japan Golf Tour
The Japan Golf Tour ( ja, 日本ゴルフツアー機構) is a prominent golf tour. It was founded in 1973 and as of 2006 it offers the third-highest annual prize fund out of the regular (that is not for seniors) men's professional tours after the PGA Tour and the European Tour. However, since the early 1990s, the growth in prize money has not kept pace with that on the two larger tours. Official events on the Japan Golf Tour count for World Golf Ranking points, and success on the tour can also qualify members to play in the majors. Most of the leading players on the tour are Japanese, but players from many other countries also participate. The tour is currently run by the Japan Golf Tour Organization (JGTO), which was established in 1999 to separate the tour from the PGA of Japan.
