2019 ANA Inspiration
The 2019 ANA Inspiration was the 48th ANA Inspiration LPGA golf tournament, held April 4–7 at the Dinah Shore Tournament Course of Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, California. It was its 37th year as a major championship, and Golf Channel televised the event for the ninth consecutive year. Pernilla Lindberg missed the cut, the first defending champion not to play the weekend in six years. Ko Jin-young won her first major by three strokes over Lee Mi-hyang. 2019 LPGA Tour
The 2019 LPGA Tour was a series of professional golf tournaments for elite female golfers from around the world. The season began at the Four Season Golf Club in Lake Buena Vista, Florida on January 17 and ended on November 24 at the Tiburón Golf Club in Naples, Florida. The tournaments are sanctioned by the United States-based Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA). Women's PGA Championship
The Women's PGA Championship (branded as the KPMG Women's PGA Championship for sponsorship reasons) is a women's professional golf tournament. First held in 1955, it is one of five majors on the LPGA Tour. It is not recognized as a major by the Ladies European Tour, which does not recognize any of the three majors played in the United States. Formerly known as the LPGA Championship, the LPGA (Ladies Professional Golf Association) announced in 2014 that the PGA of America would become a partner of the event, and that it would be renamed the Women's PGA Championship beginning in 2015—becoming a sister event to the men's PGA Championship (in a similar manner to the U.S. Women's Open being a sister event to the men's U.S. Open). Yoo Sun-young
Yoo Sun-young (Korean 유선영 ''Yu Seon-Yeong'' ; born 13 December 1986), also known as Sun Young Yoo, is a South Korean female professional golfer who plays on the LPGA Tour. She won the 2012 Kraft Nabisco Championship, which was her first major championship. Amateur career Yoo had a distinguished amateur career. In 2001, she won the Korean Junior Golf Championship. She played on the Korean National Golf team in both 2002 and 2004. In 2004 Yoo won the Korean Amateur in addition to being a quarter-finalist at the U.S. Women's Amateur. Karrie Ann Webb (born 21 December 1974) is an Australian professional golfer. She plays mainly on the U.S.-based LPGA Tour, and also turns out once or twice a year on the ALPG Tour in her home country. She is a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame. Morgan Pressel (born May 23, 1988) is an American professional golfer and golf commentator who played on the LPGA Tour. In 2001, as a 12-year-old, she became the youngest player to qualify for the U.S. Women's Open.
