2018–19 ŠK Slovan Bratislava Season
The 2018–19 season was ŠK Slovan Bratislava's 13th consecutive season in the top flight of Slovak football. The season proved to be exceptional for the club in various aspects. After a four-season drought, Slovan finally regained the league title, a feat they last accomplished in the 2013–14 season. Slovan clinched the title on 14 April 2019, with six rounds remaining in the competition. Andraž Šporar emerged as the league's top scorer, netting 29 goals and equaling the record for the most goals scored in a single season in the Slovak First Football League. On 3 March 2019, Slovan inaugurated their new stadium, marking their return after an absence of over nine years. On 3 May 2019, the club celebrated the 100th anniversary since its establishment. ŠK Slovan Bratislava
ŠK Slovan Bratislava (, "Bratislava Slavs") is a professional association football, football club based in Bratislava, Slovakia, that plays in the Slovak First Football League. Founded as I. ČSŠK Bratislava in 1919, the club changed its name to Slovan Bratislava in 1953. Slovan is the most successful team in Slovakia with the most titles in both league and cup in the country. Slovan Bratislava became the first and so far only club in Slovakia as well as former Czechoslovakia to win one of the European cup competitions, the 1968–69 European Cup Winners' Cup, Cup Winners' Cup when they defeated FC Barcelona in the final in Basel in 1969. Stefan Stangl
Stefan Stangl (born 20 October 1991) is an Austrian professional footballer who plays as a left-back. Career Stangl joined Sturm Graz in 2001, and having advanced through the club's youth system made his debut for the second team in a 4–2 defeat by SC Weiz in Regional League Central on 2 June 2009. He made his first-team debut as a late substitute in a Champions League qualifier against FC Zestaponi of Georgia on 26 July 2011. After making three further appearances for Sturm Graz, Stangl was loaned to First League side SV Grödig in January 2012. Jurij Medveděv (; born 18 June 1996) is a professional Association football, footballer who plays for Slovak club ŠK Slovan Bratislava, Slovan Bratislava as a Defender (association football), right back. Mitch Apau
Mitch Apau (born 27 April 1990) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a right-back for club Spakenburg. Apau began his senior career with Veendam in 2009, remaining at the club until its bankruptcy in 2013. He subsequently joined RKC Waalwijk, before moving abroad in 2014 to sign with Belgian side Westerlo, where he established himself as a regular starter over three seasons. FC ŠTK 1914 Šamorín
ŠTK 1914 Šamorín is a Slovak football team, based in the town of Šamorín. The club was founded in 1914. In the season 2009/2010, they were promoted to Slovak Third League. In season 2015/16 the club was promoted to the Slovak Second League. History The club was founded on 1 June 1914 (original name in Hungarian Somorjai Testgyakorlók Köre). Their first stadium (in Pomlé, Šamorín) was opened in 1930. Their first game in the stadium, against FSV Vienna was a sweet 2–0 victory in front of 1,500 spectators. ŠTK proudly announced that there will be places for more kids to play (Mladsi, Starsi ziaci and Dorast). Michal Šulla (born 15 July 1991) is a Slovak professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Líšeň. Club career Early career Michal Šulla began his career at FK Senica, where he went through various youth categories. In 2010, he fought his way up to the A-team. Dominik Greif (born 6 April 1997) is a Slovak professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for La Liga club RCD Mallorca and the Slovakia national team.
