2018–19 Radford Highlanders Women's Basketball Team
The 2018–19 Radford Highlanders women's basketball team represented Radford University during the 2018–19 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Highlanders are led by sixth year head coach Mike McGuire. They finished the season 26–7, 17–1 in Big South play win the Big South regular season title. Radford won the conference tournament championship game over the Campbell Lady Camels basketball, Campbell Lady Camels, 57–45 to earn an automatic bid of the 2019 NCAA Division I women's basketball tournament, NCAA women's tournament where they lost to Maryland in the first round. Mike McGuire (basketball)
Mike McGuire (born March 18, 1977) is the head coach of the Radford University women's basketball team. In six years as a high school basketball coach, he accumulated a record of 105-52 (). At Hidden Valley High School, McGuire led the team to back to back Virginia Group AA state titles. Over those two years, at Hidden Valley High School, he accumulated a record of 55-5 (). Brentwood Academy is a coeducational Christian independent college preparatory school located in Brentwood, Tennessee, for grades 6–12. History The charter of Brentwood Academy was signed on November 20, 1969, after ten acres of land on Granny White Pike was gifted by Tom P. Kennedy, Jr. Brentwood Academy was among a wave of private schools formed in response the court ordered desegregation of public schools. Brentwood Academy's leaders claimed the school was established to provide a sound, Christian education in a safer environment, but the sociologist Jennifer Dyer has argued that the school's stated objectives were simply a "guise" for the school's actual objective of allowing white parents to avoid enrolling their children in racially integrated public schools. James Madison Dukes Women's Basketball
The James Madison Dukes women's basketball team is the basketball team that represents James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, United States. The school's team currently competes in the Sun Belt Conference after previously playing in the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA). The Dukes are led by fifth-year head coach Sean O'Regan. The Dukes have appeared in the NCAA Division I Tournament twelve times, most recently in 2016. Page County High School
Page County High School is a public secondary school located in Shenandoah, Virginia. The dedication of the original building in 1961 brought together students from the former Shenandoah and Stanley high schools. It holds grade levels 9-12 (freshmen through seniors) and has an enrollment of approximately 550 students. Silver Spring is a census-designated place (CDP) in southeastern Montgomery County, Maryland, United States, near Washington, D.C. North Allegheny Senior High School (NASH) is a suburban high school in the North Allegheny School District and is located in Wexford, Pennsylvania, a northern suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
