Al-Gharafa SC
Al-Gharafa Sports Club ( ar, نادي الغرافة الرياضي) is a Qatari multisports club based in the Al Gharrafa district of Al Rayyan. It is best known for its football team, although it also has teams for other sports. It was established on 6 June 1979 as Al-Ittihad and later officially incorporated into the Qatar Football Association on 23 September of that same year. The club was officially renamed to its current form in 2004 to better represent the district of Al-Gharafa, of which the club belongs to. The club was most notably founded by Sheikh Mohammed bin Jassim Al-Thani, Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim Al-Thani, Sheikh Hamad bin Faisal Al-Thani, Sheikh Ali bin Abdullah Al-Thani and Saad Mohammed Al-Rumaihi. Al-Khor Sports Club ( ar, نادي الخور الرياضي) is a Qatari professional sports club based in Al Khor, featuring teams in a number of sports including football, futsal, basketball, volleyball, handball, athletics, table tennis and swimming. It is best known for its football team which competes in the Qatar Stars League. It plays its home games at Al Khor Stadium. History Foundation Al-Khor was unofficially established in 1951 by oil workers to fulfill them with the appropriate facility to invest their energy after their participation with the multinational oil companies at the time. In 1961, the club was re-established and set football as its main sport, along with other sports and activities. There were two other clubs in Al Khor, but none of the clubs cooperated. Edmilson Junior Paulo da Silva (born 19 August 1994), commonly known as Edmilson, is a Belgian footballer who plays as a winger for Qatari club Al-Duhail. Career On 22 August 2012, Edmilson made his debut for Sint-Truiden in the Belgian Second Division as an 81st-minute substitute in the 3–1 win over KV Oostende. His first goal for the club came later that year in November, during the Belgian Cup tie against KVC Westerlo which ended 5–5. Sint-Truiden won the tie on penalties. On 6 January 2016, after making 87 appearances and scoring 9 goals for Sint-Truiden, Edmilson left to rejoin former club Standard Liège where he made a reunion with former Sint-Truiden manager Yannick Ferrera. Abdullah Bin Khalifa Stadium
The Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium, formerly known as Duhail Stadium, is a football stadium in Doha, Qatar. History The construction of the stadium was set in 2011 and completed by February 2013. The first phase was completed in May 2012. The stadium was officially inaugurated on 15 February 2013 with the first match taking place in the stadium being a Qatar Stars League fixture with the home team Lekhwiya facing off against Al Khor. The official capacity is 9,000 people, and the stadium is located within the complex of the Internal Security Forces in the Duhail district of the capital Doha. Youssef El-Arabi (; born 3 February 1987) is a professional footballer who plays as a striker for Greek Super League club Olympiacos and the Morocco national team. He began his career with hometown club Caen in Ligue 1, making his debut in 2008. After a season in Saudi Arabia with Al Hilal he signed for La Liga club Granada for a club record €5 million in 2012.
