2018–19 Iowa State Cyclones Men's Basketball Team
The 2018–19 Iowa State Cyclones men's basketball team represented Iowa State University during the 2018–19 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Cyclones were coached by Steve Prohm, who was in his fourth season at Iowa State. They played their home games at Hilton Coliseum in Ames, Iowa as members of the Big 12 Conference. They finished the season 23-12, finishing in 5th place. In the Big 12 tournament, they defeated Baylor, Kansas State, and Kansas to win the Big 12 tournament. They received an automatic bid as a 6th seed in the NCAA tournament where they were upset by 11th seed Ohio State in the First Round. Steve Prohm
Steven Marshall Prohm (born July 12, 1974) is an American basketball coach who is in his second tenure as the head coach for Murray State men's basketball. Previously, he was the head coach at Iowa State University, a position he had held from 2015 to 2021. Prohm served in the same capacity at Murray State University from 2011 to 2015. Early life A native of Vienna, Virginia, Prohm's family later moved to Dalton, Georgia, where Prohm attended high school at Northwest Whitfield High School in Tunnel Hill, Georgia and lettered in basketball for three years, graduating in 1992. He started college at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta where he played NCAA Division III basketball. Prohm made it less than halfway through his first season as a player when he left the team to follow his passion for coaching. The 2017–18 Texas Longhorns men's basketball team represented the University of Texas at Austin in the 2017–18 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. Darien, Illinois
Darien is a city in DuPage County, Illinois, United States. Per the 2020 census, the population was 22,011. A southwestern suburb of Chicago, Darien was named after the town of Darien, Connecticut. Darien is just north of I-55 and Historic U.S. Route 66 (now Frontage Road). The entire south edge of the town borders Waterfall Glen. George Conditt IV
George Conditt IV (born August 22, 2000) is a professional basketball player who plays for the Gigantes de Carolina of the Baloncesto Superior Nacional (BSN). He represents the Puerto Rican national basketball team in FIBA basketball competitions. Conditt played college basketball for the Iowa State Cyclones. Tyrese John Haliburton (born February 29, 2000) is an American professional basketball player for the Indiana Pacers of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
