George Conditt IV
George Conditt IV (born August 22, 2000) is a professional basketball player who plays for the Gigantes de Carolina of the Baloncesto Superior Nacional (BSN). He represents the Puerto Rican national basketball team in FIBA basketball competitions. Conditt played college basketball for the Iowa State Cyclones. Early life Conditt was born in Chicago, Illinois. He attended Corliss High School. He was an honor student. As a senior, he averaged 14.7 points, 17.0 rebounds and 8.0 blocks per game. He led Corliss to a 24–5 record, failing to reach the school’s first state tournament appearance by one game. He was selected to the Class 2A first-team All-State, the Chicago Sun-Times Class 2A second-team and was an All-Area honorable mention. The Illinois Fighting Illini men's basketball team is an NCAA Division I college basketball team competing in the Big Ten Conference. Home games are played at the State Farm Center, located on the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign's campus in Champaign. Illinois has one pre-tournament national championship and one non-NCAA tournament national championship in 1915 and 1943, awarded by the Premo-Porretta Power Poll. The Vaqueros de Bayamón are a Puerto Rican basketball team of the Baloncesto Superior Nacional based in Bayamón, Puerto Rico. The Vaqueros play their home games at Rubén Rodríguez Coliseum, a venue shared with the Liga de Voleibol Superior Femenino women's volleyball team Vaqueras de Bayamón. The Vaqueros are the most successful team in the history of the Baloncesto Superior Nacional, having won 16 league championships, their last being in 2022. The franchise began in 1930 and still stands as one of the league's original clubs. Led by Rubén Rodríguez, Bayamón established a BSN record for most consecutive championships with 5, from 1971 to 1975. Hassan Niam Whiteside (born June 13, 1989) is an American professional basketball player who last played for the Utah Jazz of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Marshall Thundering Herd before being selected in the second round by the Sacramento Kings in the 2010 NBA draft. Brandon Emmanuel Knight (born December 2, 1991) is an American professional basketball player who last played for the Dallas Mavericks of the National Basketball Association (NBA). A two-time Gatorade National Player of the Year, Knight played one season of college basketball for Kentucky before being selected by the Detroit Pistons in the 2011 NBA draft. Tremont Waters (born January 10, 1998) is an American professional basketball player for the Metropolitans 92 of the LNB Pro A. He played college basketball for the LSU Tigers. Early life and high school career Waters played at South Kent School, a private all-boys school in Connecticut for three years. He transferred prior to his senior year to Notre Dame High School in West Haven, Connecticut. In 2015, he tried out for the Puerto Rico men's national basketball team's U-17 squad.
