The 2018–19 season was FC Ararat-Armenia's 1st season in Armenian Premier League, in which they won their first Championship and reached the Semifinal of the Armenian Cup. Season events On 2 August 2018, Vadim Skripchenko was appointed as the new head coach of Ararat-Armenia, before being sacked on 25 September, and Ararat-Armenia-2 manager Artak Oseyan being appointed as caretaker manager. FC Ararat-Armenia ( hy, Ֆուտբոլային Ակումբ Արարատ-Արմենիա), is an Armenian football club based in Yerevan, founded in 2017. History It was founded in 2017 as FC Avan Academy by Ruben Hayrapetyan, on the basis of the young players of the Yerevan Football Academy graduates, as well as many young players from FC Pyunik. They club's inaugural match took place in July 2017 against Erebuni SC. The friendly match ended up with a score of 3–1 in favour of Avan Academy. FC Luch Vladivostok (russian: Футбольный клуб "Луч" Владивосток) was an association football club based in Vladivostok, Russia. In 2005, Luch won the Russian First Division and played in the Premier League from 2006 to 2008. Aleksandar Damchevski (, born 21 November 1992) is a professional footballer who plays as a centre back for Italian Serie D club Avezzano.
