2018–19 ABA League Second Division
The 2018–19 ABA League Second Division was the 2nd season of the ABA Second Division with 12 teams from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Slovenia participating in it. Format changes On March 13, 2018, the Adriatic League Assembly decided to abolish the National standings and, as of the 2018–19 season, participants are determined only based on the results in the competitions under the umbrella of the Adriatic League ( First Division and Second Division). According to that, the promotion to the First Division is possible only from the Second Division. The last placed of the 2017–18 First Division season lose the right to participate in the 2018–19 season and its place is given to the 2017–18 Champion of the Second Division. The 2017–18 ABA League Second Division was the inaugural season of the ABA League Second Division with 12 men's teams from Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Macedonia participating in it. KK Kumanovo
KK Kumanovo ( mk, КК Куманово) is a professional basketball club based in Kumanovo, North Macedonia. They currently play in the Macedonian First League. The club play their home matches at the Sports Hall Kumanovo. History Founded: 1946 Name: KK Kumanovo 2009 (09-). After the founding in 1946, the team was only able to achieve national successes in 1980. In the 90s Kumanovo team qualified for the Korac Cup 1998/99 , in which they lost a two-legged home game against KK Krka as well as two years later in the same competition against the BK Jambol. KK Rabotnički
KK Rabotnički ( mk, КК Работнички) is a basketball club based in Skopje, North Macedonia. They currently play in the Macedonian First League and ABA League Second Division. The club has won the Macedonian championship 15 times and the Macedonian Cup 10 times. Fans of KK Rabotnički are known as ''City Park Boys'' or simply The Boys , the reds or the mighty reds. 2017–18 Macedonian First League
The 2017–18 Macedonian First League was the 26th season of the Macedonian First League, with 12 teams participating in it. The season started in November 2017 and ended May 2018. Rabotnički achieved their fifteenth title after defeating MZT Skopje in the finals, that won the six previous championships. Competition format The twelve teams that compose the league played a double-legged round robin tournament, where the six first qualified teams joined the Super League and the other six fought for avoiding the relegation. The top four teams of the Super League qualified for the playoffs for the title. Teams Gostivar replaced Vardar, who was relegated from the previous season. As a result of an expansion of the league to 12 teams, Blokotehna and Skhupi were also promoted. The 2019–20 ABA League First Division was the 19th season of the ABA League with 12 teams from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, Slovenia and Serbia participating in it. The season started on 4 October 2019 and played its last games on 9 March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On 12 March 2020, the ABA League Assembly temporarily suspended its competitions due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On 27 May 2020, the ABA League Assembly canceled definitely its competitions due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The ABA League, renamed to the ABA League First Division in 2017, is the 1st-tier regional men's professional basketball league that originally featured clubs from the former Yugoslavia (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Slovenia).
