2018 Suzuka 10 Hours
The 2018 Suzuka 10 Hours was endurance event that took place on August 26, 2018 at the Suzuka Circuit in Suzuka City, Japan. It was the 47th edition of the Summer Endurance Classic at Suzuka, and the first as part of the Intercontinental GT Challenge, running under the ten-hour format (the race having previously been a 1000-kilometer format). The race was won by the GruppeM Racing team with Maro Engel, Raffaele Marciello and Tristan Vautier driving. Due to regulation change, GT300 cars were still eligible to race in Suzuka 10 Hours, while GT500 cars were banned. 1000 Km Suzuka
The Suzuka Summer Endurance Race is an annual motorsport event for Sports car racing, sports cars that has been held at the Suzuka International Racing Course, Mie Prefecture, Japan since 1966, and the oldest automobile Endurance racing (motorsport), endurance race in Japan. From 1966 to 2017, the event was known as the Suzuka 1000km, a 1000 kilometre race held as part of various championships including Super GT, the All-Japan Sports Prototype Championship, All-Japan Endurance/Sports Prototype Championship, the FIA GT Championship, the BPR Global GT Series, and the World Sportscar Championship, FIA World Sportscar Championship. Kelvin Van Der Linde
Kelvin van der Linde (born 20 June 1996) is a South African racing driver currently competing as a substitute driver in Formula E with the ABT Team. He made his GT Masters debut in 2014, also winning the championship that year, a feat he repeated in 2019. He won the 2017 24 Hours of Nürburgring. Vincent Abril (born March 1, 1995 in Alès, France) is a French- Monégasque race car driver based in Monaco. He was the 2015 Blancpain GT Series Sprint Cup champion. Racing career In 2011, Abril raced in the SEAT León Supercopa France series for Team Speedcar. In a season with six top-tens, he finished 15th in the point standings. Christopher Mies (born 24 May 1989) is a professional German racing driver who currently competes for Audi Sport in GT3 series such as ADAC GT Masters and GT World Challenge Europe. Career Mies began his career in 2006 in the Toyota Yaris Cup Germany, followed in 2007 by the Ford Fiesta Cup Germany.
