International Triathlon Union
World Triathlon, previously known as the International Triathlon Union (ITU), is the international governing body for the multi-sport disciplines of triathlon, duathlon, aquathlon and other nonstandard variations. World Triathlon hosts the top level international race series the World Triathlon Championship Series and the ITU Triathlon World Cup. World Triathlon also has a long-distance race circuit with official world championships. The Gold Coast is a coastal city in the state of Queensland, Australia, approximately south-southeast of the centre of the state capital Brisbane. Kalmar
Kalmar (, , ) is a city in the southeast of Sweden, situated by the Baltic Sea. It had 36,392 inhabitants in 2010 and is the seat of Kalmar Municipality. It is also the capital of Kalmar County, which comprises 12 municipalities with a total of 236,399 inhabitants (2015). Jacob Birtwhistle (born 4 January 1995) is an Australian Triathlon, triathlete. Running career At the 2013 IAAF World Cross Country Championships – Junior men's race he finished 41st. He was crowned World School Cross Country Champion in 2012 in Malta. Aaron Royle (born 26 January 1990) is an Australian triathlete. Youth career He is a former under-23 world champion. 2014 season Royle took third at the event in Auckland in the 2014 ITU World Triathlon Series. He won a bronze in the mixed relay at the 2014 Commonwealth Games. 2015 season Royle took third at the event in Stockholm in the 2015 ITU World Triathlon Series. 2016 season Royle took third at the event in Leeds in the 2016 ITU World Triathlon Series. Dorian Coninx (born 28 January 1994) is a French triathlete. He competed in the men's event at the 2016 Summer Olympics. Helle Frederiksen
Helle Frederiksen (born 5 March 1981 in Odense, Funen) is a Danish professional triathlete. She represented Denmark in triathlon at the 2012 Summer Olympics, placing 27th, and raced on International Triathlon Union race circuit. She is the winner of the 2018 ITU Long Distance Triathlon World Championships as well as the 2014 Hy-Vee Triathlon and 2014 Challenge Bahrain. Lesley Paterson (born 12 October 1980) is a Scottish triathlete and triathlon coach who is the 2011, 2012 and 2018 XTERRA Triathlon World Champion as well as the 2012 and 2018 ITU Cross Triathlon World Champion.
