2018 Allsvenskan
The 2018 Allsvenskan, part of the 2018 Swedish football season, was the 94th season of Allsvenskan since its establishment in 1924. A total of 16 teams participated. As the 2018 FIFA World Cup will start on 14 June, the last round before stoppage will be held on 27 May. The league will resume games on 7 July. Malmö FF were the defending champions after winning the title in the previous season. AIK won the Swedish championship this season, their sixth Allsvenskan title and 12th Swedish championship overall, in the 30th round on 11 November when they won 0–1 in the away fixture against Kalmar FF at Guldfågeln Arena. Ludvig Öhman
Carl Ludvig Öhman Silwerfeldt (born 9 October 1991) is a Swedish footballer who plays as a centre back for Ettan side Vasalunds IF. Öhman has previously played top flight football in both his native Sweden and Japan for Kalmar FF, AFC Eskilstuna, IF Brommapojkarna and Nagoya Grampus. In 2019 he followed former Eskilstuna manager Michael Jolley to English EFL League Two side Grimsby Town where he remained until being released in the summer of 2021. Varbergs BoIS FC is a Swedish football club located in Varberg, the main town of Varberg Municipality in Halland County. Background The club was formed at a meeting in the Varbergs Folkets Hus on 25 March 1925. The backbone of the new club was a group of men from the Haga district of Varberg who had previously started a football club named Haga Bollklubb. Syrianska Football Club, also known as Syrianska FC or simply Syrianska, is a Swedish professional football club based in Södertälje in Stockholm County. The club was founded by Syriac-Aramean immigrants in 1977 as Suryoyo Sportklubb, or Suryoyo SK. In 1986, its name was changed to Syrianska SK. The club adopted its present name as it grew and advanced through the league system. In 2010, after two years in Superettan, Syrianska was promoted to Allsvenskan (the highest tier in Swedish football) for the first time in club history.
