2018 Euroformula Open Championship
The 2018 Euroformula Open Championship is a multi-event motor racing championship for single-seat open wheel formula racing cars that held across Europe. The championship features drivers competing in two-litre Formula Three racing cars built by Italian constructor Dallara which conform to the technical regulations, or formula, for the championship. It was the fifth Euroformula Open Championship season. Teams and drivers * All cars were Dallara F312 which were powered by Toyota engines. Race calendar and results * An eight-round provisional calendar was revealed on 23 October 2017. The calendar will feature the same eight circuits like in 2017. Euroformula Open Championship
The Euroformula Open Championship (formerly the Spanish Formula Three Championship, European F3 Open Championship) is a junior formula racing series based in Spain. It was one of six national and international Formula Three championships in Europe and Scandinavia that together used to form an important part of the established "career ladder" below Formula One. The championship's first season was held in 2001. In 2006, it was branded as the Spanish F3 Championship by Toyota, in deference to its sole engine supplier. In 2020, the championship ceased to be a F3-championship and will share its specifications with Japan's Super Formula Lights based on the previous-generation Formula Three standards, primarily with a choice of engines. Dev Gore (born 31 July 1997 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma) is an American professional racing driver competing in international motorsport. Background Gore started his racing career at the age of 18 years old. After an initial taste of karting in 2015, he entered the Florida Winter Tour and the Rotax Grand Nationals in the DD2 category. In 2016, he moved into US DD2 National and US Open DD2 and was crowned champion. Gore raced for Team USA at the Rotax Grand Finals. He is a graduate of Bertil Roos Racing School. Calan Williams (born 30 June 2000) is an Australian racing driver who is competing in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup with BMW M Team WRT. He previously competed in the FIA Formula 2 Championship with Trident, having previously raced for Jenzer Motorsport in the FIA Formula 3 Championship during 2020 and 2021. Fortec Motorsport Ltd. is a motor-racing team that races in the GB3 Championship. The team was bought in 1995 by current owner Richard Dutton. Marcos Siebert (born 16 March 1996 in Mar del Plata) is an Argentine racing driver. He was the Italian F4 champion for the 2016 season. Career Karting Born in Mar del Plata, Siebert began karting in 2004 at the age of eight, his highlights of his karting career being a second and third at the 2005 and 2006 editions of the Promocional karting events. Lower Formulae Siebert graduated to single-seaters in 2011, spending two seasons in Formula Metropolitan, finishing 12th in the 2012 season. Brad Domenico Benavides Agredo (born 20 July 2001) is an American racing driver who most recently competed in the 2023 FIA Formula 2 Championship with PHM Racing by Charouz. He previously competed in the FIA Formula 3 Championship with Carlin. Career Karting Benavides started his karting career in 2017, when he finished ninth in the WSK Final Cup in the KZ2-class. Campos Racing is a Spanish motor racing team, founded by former Formula One driver Adrián Campos. The team has been successful in Formula Three and the GP2 Series. History After retiring from racing, Campos formed his own team at the end of 1997, under the name Campos Motorsport. In 1998 the team began by competing in the new Open Fortuna by Nissan, with Marc Gené and Antonio García as drivers.
