2018 Belgian Road Cycling Cup
The 2018 Belgian Road Cycling Cup (known as the Napoleon Games Cycling Cup for sponsorship reasons) was the third edition of the Belgian Road Cycling Cup. Jasper De Buyst was the defending champion. Despite not winning any of the events, Timothy Dupont won his second title after already winning the 2016 edition. Events Compared to the previous season, the Grote Prijs Marcel Kint was added to the calendar, replacing the Handzame Classic. Race results Since 2017, only the top 15 riders score points for the general classification. Three intermediate sprints during each race award points to the top three riders. Belgian Road Cycling Cup
The Belgian Road Cycling Cup (also known as Lotto Cycling Cup after its sponsor) is a road bicycle racing competition established in 2016 and consists of a number of standalone one-day races, mostly in Belgium but since 2022 some are held as well in the Netherlands. In each race, the top 15 riders score points and the rider scoring the most points in total is crowned the Belgian Cycling Cup champion. A separate classification was kept for the best youngster and best team, but these have been cancelled since 2017 and 2018 respectively. The lead sponsor changed regularly throughout the years, causing the official name to change often as well: from 2016 to 2018 it was known as the ''Napoleon Games Cycling Cup'', from 2019 to 2021 as the ''Bingoal Cycling Cup'', in 2022 as the ''Exterioo Cycling Cup'', and since 2023 as the Lotto Cycling Cup. Dwars Door Het Hageland
Dwars door het Hageland is a cycling race held annually in Belgium. Up until 2019, it was a part of the UCI Europe Tour as a category 1.1 event, though between 2010 and 2012, it was a category 1.2 event. Binche–Chimay–Binche (also known as Memorial Frank Vandenbroucke) is a single-day road bicycle race held annually between Binche and Chimay, in Wallonia, Belgium. Mads Pedersen (born 18 December 1995) is a Danish professional racing cyclist, who rides for UCI WorldTeam . In September 2019, he won the men's road race at the 2019 UCI Road World Championships in Yorkshire, England, and became the first Danish cyclist to win the men's World Championship road race title.
