2018 All-SEC Football Team
The 2018 All-SEC football team consists of American football players selected to the All-Southeastern Conference (SEC) chosen by the ''Associated Press'' (AP) and the conference coaches for the 2018 Southeastern Conference football season. Alabama won the conference, beating Georgia 35–28 in the SEC Championship. Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was voted the AP SEC Offensive Player of the Year. 2018 Southeastern Conference Football Season
The 2018 Southeastern Conference football season represents the 86th season of SEC football taking place during the 2018 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The season began on August 30 and will end with the SEC Championship Game, between Alabama and Georgia, on December 1. The SEC is a Power Five conference under the College Football Playoff format along with the Atlantic Coast Conference, the Big 12 Conference, the Big Ten Conference, and the Pac-12 Conference. For the 2018 season, the SEC has 14 teams divided into two divisions of seven each, named East and West. Damien Harris (born February 11, 1997) is an American football running back for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at University of Alabama, Alabama and was selected by the Patriots in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft. Martez Ivey (born July 25, 1995) is a professional gridiron football offensive tackle for the Edmonton Elks of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football at Florida. High school career Ivey attended Apopka High School in Apopka, Florida. In his sophomore year, Ivey helped protect quarterback Zack Darlington as Apopka went on a 13–2 record, and won the 2012 FHSAA Class 8A state title over Cypress Bay.
