2017–18 Swiss Basketball League
The 2017–18 Swiss Basketball League (SBL) season was the 87th season of the top tier basketball league in Switzerland. Competition format All teams will play two times against each other for completing 22 games per team. The six first qualified teams will join the group for places 1 to 6 while the other six teams will play the group for places 7 to 12. These two groups will be played with a one-legged round-robin format, where all teams from group 1 to 6 and the two first qualified teams from the group for the seventh position will be qualified for the playoffs. In this intermediate stage, teams start with the points accumulated by the winnings achieved in the first stage. The quarterfinals and the semifinals will be played as a best-of-five series while the final in a best-of-seven series. The 2016–17 Championnat LNA season was the 86th season of the top tier basketball league in Switzerland. Monthey won its third national championship. Pully Basket
Pully Lausanne Foxes is a Swiss professional basketball club that is based in Pully. The team currently plays in the Swiss Basketball League (SBL), the highest basketball tier in Switzerland. Until 2017, the club was known as Pully Basket. History The club was founded in December 4 1951 by Frenchman, Neil 'Pinto' Hernandez. The first club colors was green for the shirt and red for shorts. In 1962 Pully became winner of the Vaud Cup, also the club rises at LNB second level championship in Switzerland. After a remarkable 1966-67 season, Pully promoted to LNA through the streets of his city Sunday, June 25, and he was welcomed by the municipality. In 1967-68 Pully ranks fourth at the LNA championship, and the club has 88 members, including 47 juniors, making it the first club in Switzerland by the number of members. Pully () is a municipality in Switzerland in the canton of Vaud, located in the district of Lavaux-Oron.
