2017–18 Super Smash
The 2017–18 Burger King Super Smash (named after the competition's sponsor Burger King) was the thirteenth season of the Men's Super Smash Twenty20 cricket tournament in New Zealand. The competition was run from 13 December 2017 to 20 January 2018. The Wellington Firebirds were the defending champions. Following the completion of the round-robin fixtures, Northern Knights, Auckland Aces and Central Stags had qualified for the finals of the competition. Lachlan Hammond Ferguson (born 13 June 1991) is a New Zealand cricketer who represents the New Zealand national team and plays first-class cricket for Auckland. Todd Astle
Todd Duncan Astle (born 24 September 1986) is a New Zealand cricketer who plays for the New Zealand national cricket team. Astle began his cricket career as an opening batsman, representing New Zealand in the 2006 Under-19 Cricket World Cup, but over time playing first-class cricket for Canterbury, he morphed into a bowling all-rounder. Robert James Nicol (born 28 May 1983 in Auckland) is a former New Zealand cricketer, who played all formats of the game. He is a right-handed opening batsman and bowled right arm off spin occasionally. Jacob Duffy (born 2 August 1994) is a New Zealand cricketer who plays for Otago. Duffy made his senior debut in an HRV Cup match against Northern Districts in January 2012. Anil Teja Nidamanuru (born 22 August 1994) is an Indian-born cricketer who plays for the Netherlands cricket team. He has also played for Auckland in New Zealand domestic cricket. Eden Park
Eden Park is New Zealand's largest sports stadium, with a capacity of 50,000.
