The 2017 Tour of Utah was a seven-stage road cycling race held from July 31 to August 6, 2017, and the 13th edition of the Tour of Utah. It was rated as a 2.HC on the 2017 UCI America Tour. The race was won by Rob Britton of . Teams Sixteen teams entered the race. Each team had a maximum of eight riders: Overview Stage 1 was won by Ty Magner. Stage 2 was won by Brent Bookwalter. Stage 3 was won by Rob Britton. Stage 4 was won by John Murphy. Stage 5 was won by Travis McCabe. Stage 6 was won by Giulio Ciccone. Stage 7 was won by Marco Canola. 2017 UCI America Tour
The 2017 UCI America Tour was the thirteenth season of the UCI America Tour. The season began on October 24, 2016 with the Vuelta a Guatemala and ended on October 15, 2017. The points leader, based on the cumulative results of previous races, wears the UCI America Tour cycling jersey. Throughout the season, points are awarded to the top finishers of stages within stage races and the final general classification standings of each of the stages races and one-day events. The quality and complexity of a race also determines how many points are awarded to the top finishers, the higher the UCI rating of a race, the more points are awarded. Giulio Ciccone (born 20 December 1994) is an Italian cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Career Bardiani–CSF (2016–18) Ciccone was named in the start list for the 2016 Giro d'Italia, where he won stage 10. At the 2018 Giro d'Italia, Ciccone finished second in the mountains classification, behind overall race winner Chris Froome. James Piccoli (born 5 September 1991) is a Canadian professional road racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Sepp Kuss
Sepp Kuss (born September 13, 1994) is an American professional cyclist who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Career Kuss started out in mountain bike racing as a junior and as a student at the University of Colorado won two races at the Collegiate Mountain Bike Nationals in 2014, and another in 2015 becoming a two time mountain bike xc national champion. When asked what his cycling ambitions were, he said he wanted to take cycling as far as he could after finishing his degree. When asked one person he could sit and have lunch with he answered Peter Sagan. Kuss began the 2016 season racing for the amateur Gateway Harley Davidson / Trek team.
