2017 Sweden Hockey Games
The 2017 Sweden Hockey Games was played between 9–12 February 2017. The Czech Republic, Finland, Sweden and Russia played a round-robin for a total of three games per team and six games in total. Five of the matches were played in Gothenburg, Sweden, and one match in Saint Petersburg, Russia. The tournament was part of 2016–17 Euro Hockey Tour. Tournament was won by Russia. 2014 Oddset Hockey Games
The 2014 Oddset Hockey Games is played between 1–4 May 2014. The Czech Republic, Finland, Sweden and Russia play a round-robin for a total of three games per team and six games in total. Five of the matches are played in the Ericsson Globe in Stockholm, Sweden, and one match in the Hartwall Arena in Helsinki, Finland. Finland won the tournament for the fifth time. Jakub Kovář
Jakub Kovář (born 19 July 1988) is a Czech professional ice hockey goaltender who is currently playing for HC Sparta Praha in the Czech Extraliga. He was selected by the Philadelphia Flyers in the 4th round (109th overall) of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft. He is the older brother of Jan Kovář. Playing career Kovar played major junior hockey in the North American Ontario Hockey League with the Windsor Spitfires. Scandinavium () is an indoor arena located in Gothenburg, Sweden. Construction on Scandinavium began in 1969 after decades of setbacks, and was inaugurated on 18 May 1971. Scandinavium has been selected as a championship arena at least fifty times, hosting events such as World Championships in handball and ice hockey, European championships, Davis Cup finals, and in 1985 the Eurovision Song Contest. Calle Rosén (born 2 February 1994) is a Swedish professional ice hockey defenceman currently playing for the St. Louis Blues of the National Hockey League (NHL). Emil Johansson (born May 6, 1996) is a Swedish professional ice hockey defenceman currenrtly playing for EHC Red Bull München of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). Johansson was selected by the Boston Bruins in the seventh round (206th overall) of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. Playing career Johansson played as a youth within Åseda IF and HV71 organizations. Patrik Zackrisson (born March 27, 1987) is a professional Swedish ice hockey centre. He is currently playing for Leksands IF of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). Playing career Zackrisson spent his junior career with Frölunda HC before moving to play one season with Rögle BK in the HockeyAllsvenskan, and then signing with Linköpings HC, where he spent four seasons. Carl Klingberg (born 28 January 1991) is a Swedish professional ice hockey forward for EV Zug of the National League (NL). Early life Klingberg was born on 28 January 1991 in Gothenburg, Sweden, and started playing ice hockey at an early age for Lerums BK. Joel Eriksson Ek (last name sometimes stylized as Eriksson-Ek, born 29 January 1997) is a Swedish professional ice hockey centre for the Minnesota Wild of the National Hockey League (NHL). Adam Polášek (born July 12, 1991) is a Czech ice hockey defenceman currently playing for HC Sparta Praha of the Czech Extraliga (ELH).
