2014 Oddset Hockey Games
The 2014 Oddset Hockey Games is played between 1–4 May 2014. The Czech Republic, Finland, Sweden and Russia play a round-robin for a total of three games per team and six games in total. Five of the matches are played in the Ericsson Globe in Stockholm, Sweden, and one match in the Hartwall Arena in Helsinki, Finland. Finland won the tournament for the fifth time. Oscar Möller (born 22 January 1989) is a Swedish professional ice hockey Winger (ice hockey), right winger who currently plays for Skellefteå AIK of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). Playing career Möller began his junior hockey career in his native Sweden with Spånga IF IK and Djurgårdens IF Hockey, Djurgårdens IF. He moved to North America for his draft year in 2006–07 WHL season, 2006–07 to play major junior hockey, major junior in the Western Hockey League (WHL) for the Chilliwack Bruins. Bengt Per Anders Nilsson (born 19 March 1990) is a Swedish former professional ice hockey goaltender. Nilsson was drafted 62nd overall in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft by the New York Islanders and played in the NHL with the Islanders, Edmonton Oilers, St. Louis Blues, Buffalo Sabres, Vancouver Canucks, and Ottawa Senators. Hartwall Areena
Helsinki Halli (formerly Hartwall Arena) is a large multi-functional indoor arena located in Helsinki, Finland. It was opened in April 1997. The arena is convertible for various events. The total seated capacity during ice hockey games is 13,349 (about 14,000 for basketball, for concerts up to 15,000) and as an amphitheatre, it is significantly reduced to between 3,000 to 5,000. The Russian-owned arena has been unused since March 2022 due to EU sanctions related to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The main sponsor, Hartwall, also ended its sponsorship and the arena's name was changed. Construction and facilities The initiative for building the arena came from Harry "Hjallis" Harkimo in 1994. Juuso Hietanen
Juuso Hietanen (born 14 June 1985) is a Finnish professional ice hockey defenceman for HPK of the Liiga. Playing career Hietanen made his SM-liiga debut with HPK during the 2003–04 season, and two years later he became a regular player on the team. He also visited Pelicans early in his career and was part of the Finnish national junior team in the 2005 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships. Leonid Aleksandrovich Komarov (russian: Леонид Александрович Комаров, fi, Leonid "Leo" Aleksandrovitš Komarov; born 23 January 1987) is a professional ice hockey centre for Luleå HF of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL).
