The Denny Sanford Premier Center is an indoor arena in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The building is located at 1201 North West Avenue, and is connected to the Sioux Falls Arena and Sioux Falls Convention Center. J. D. Gravina is an American college basketball coach and the coach of the Western Illinois women's basketball team. In his 9th season at the helm of Western Illinois Women's Basketball, Gravina has transformed the Leathernecks into one of the highest-powered offenses in the Summit League, and his teams have continued to rewrite the record book with his yearly success. Summit League
The Summit League, or The Summit, is an NCAA Division I intercollegiate athletic conference with its membership mostly located in the Midwestern United States from Illinois on the East of the Mississippi River to the Dakotas and Nebraska on the West, with additional members in the Western United States, Western state of Colorado and the Southern United States, Southern state of Oklahoma. Founded as the Association of Mid-Continent Universities in 1982, it rebranded as the Mid-Continent Conference in 1989, then again as the Summit League on June 1, 2007. The Summit League women's basketball tournament has existed since 1993. The winner of the tournament receives the Summit League's automatic bid into the NCAA Women's Division I Basketball Championship.
