The 2017 season will be Stabæk's fourth season back in the Eliteserien following their relegation in 2012, their 21st season in the top flight of Norwegian football. Stabæk Fotball is a Norwegian professional football club based in Bærum, a suburb of Oslo. It is part of the multi-sport organization Stabæk IF. Founded in 1912, the club's name is an archaic spelling of the suburban area Stabekk, from which it once originated. Edvard Linnebo Race (born 22 May 1997) is a Norwegian football defender who currently plays for Raufoss. He started his youth career in SK Sprint-Jeløy, and also featured for Moss FK before joining Stabæk's junior team while attending the Norwegian College of Elite Sports. He made his senior debut in the first round of the 2015 Norwegian Football Cup, and then his league debut as an 88th-minute substitute against Bodø/Glimt in November 2015. John Rune Alvbåge (; born 10 August 1982) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Jeppe Arctander Moe (born 3 August 1995) is a Norwegian professional footballer who plays as a defender for Eliteserien side Aalesund. Jeppe Arctander Moe began his career in his local club Fossum IF but later got picked up by Stabæk at the age of 13.
