Sindre Mauritz-Hansen (born 18 October 1994) is a Norwegian professional footballer who currently plays for Asker. Career Club On 7 December 2016, Mauritz-Hansen signed a professional contract with Stabæk., where he previously played as a youth player, after scoring 68 goals in 74 appearances in all competitions for Asker. He made his first appearance in Eliteserien on 17 April 2017 as an overtime substitute in a 3-0 victory against Sarpsborg 08. Asker ( no, Asker), properly called Askerbygda in Norwegian, is a district and former Municipalities of Norway, municipality in Akershus, Norway. From 2020 it is part of the larger administrative municipality Asker, Viken (also known as Greater Asker) in Viken (county), Viken county, together with the traditional Buskerud districts Røyken and Hurum; Asker proper constitutes the northern fourth and is part of the Greater Oslo Region. The Norwegian First Division, also called 1. divisjon and OBOS-ligaen (named sponsor is property developer OBOS), is the second-highest level of the Norwegian football league system. Each year, the top finishing teams in the 1. divisjon are promoted to the Eliteserien, and the lowest finishing teams are relegated to 2. divisjon. 1. divisjon was previously known as 2. divisjon (1963–1990) and replaced regional league Landsdelsserien (1951–1962) after the latter was dissolved after the 1961–62 season.
