Gustavo Adolfo Valdés (born 15 October 1968) is an Argentina, Argentine Radical Civic Union politician who is currently Governor of Corrientes Province, governor of Corrientes Province, since 10 December 2017. Previously, from 2013 to 2017, he was a Argentine Chamber of Deputies, National Deputy for Corrientes. Early life and education Gustavo Adolfo Valdés was born on 15 October 1968 in Corrientes, into a political family: his father, Manuel Valdés, was twice mayor of Ituzaingó, Corrientes, Ituzaingó, while his mother, Juana Mosqueda, was a Justicialist Party, peronist councilwoman of the same city, where Valdés was raised. Valdés joined the Radical Civic Union (UCR) when he was 15, according to himself inspired by the figure of Raúl Alfonsín. Valdés was active in the UCR's student wing, Franja Morada, and was president of his high school's Students' union, student union. Ricardo Clemente Quintela (born 16 March 1960) is an Argentine Justicialist Party politician who is currently Governor of La Rioja Province, since 11 December 2019. He was previously Mayor of the City of La Rioja from 2003 to 2015, as well as a member of the provincial legislature during two non-consecutive terms and a National Deputy from 1997 to 2003. Since 2020, Quintela has been the president of the La Rioja chapter of the Justicialist Party. Carlos Alberto Verna (born 8 May 1946) is an Argentine Justicialist Party (PJ) politician who was governor of La Pampa Province twice, from 2003 to 2007 and from 2015 to 2019. He was also a National Senator for La Pampa for two terms, and served as ''intendente'' (mayor) of General Pico. Gerardo Rubén Morales (born 18 July 1959) is an Argentine politician, Governor of Jujuy Province and Secretary General of the Radical Civic Union. He was a member of the Argentine Senate representing Jujuy Province, elected for the Front of Jujuy. He was a candidate for Vice President of Argentina on Roberto Lavagna's UNA ticket in the 2007 elections. Since 2015, he has been Governor of Jujuy, the first non- Peronist elected to the post since the restoration of democracy. Biography Morales was born in Jujuy Province. He worked on the Ferrocarril General Manuel Belgrano railway as a waiter at age 18, and was promoted to the post of administrator. Gildo Insfrán
Gildo Insfrán (born 19 January 1951) is an Argentine Justicialist Party (PJ) politician, who has been Governor of Formosa Province since 1995. Having been close to former President Carlos Menem, Insfrán later became close to President Néstor Kirchner, who defeated Menem in 2003 and was the leader of the Justicialist Party. Insfrán has been the target of accusations of corruption and embezzlement, and has been severely criticized for his long tenure. He arranged to have Formosa's provincial constitution revised to allow him to be reelected indefinitely, and has thus been described as having "stuck a knife into the provincial Constitution".
