Anatoliy Anatoliyovych Herey ( uk, Анатолій Анатолійович Герей, translit=Anatolij Antolijovyč Herej; born 31 March 1989) is a Ukrainian épée fencer, team silver medallist in the 2013 World Fencing Championships. Career Herey comes from a fencing family: his father and uncle were honoured masters of sports for the USSR and became fencing coaches; his cousin Yulianna is a foil fencer. His first international distinction was a bronze medal at the 2008 U23 European Championships 2008 in Monza. Alessio Foconi (born 22 November 1989) is an Italian right-handed foil fencer and 2021 Olympian. Foconi is a 2022 team European champion, 2019 individual European champion, three-time team world champion, and 2018 individual world champion. Career Born in Rome, Foconi took up fencing in Terni, Umbria. He was coached in his formative years by Filippo Romagnoli and Giulio Tomassini.
