The 2016–17 season was Notts County's 154th season in their history and their second consecutive season in League Two. Along with League Two, the club will also compete in the FA Cup, League Cup and League Trophy. The season covers the period from 1 July 2016 to 30 June 2017. Adam Collin
Adam James Collin (born 9 December 1984) is an English former footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Career Early career Born in Penrith, Cumbria, Collin started his career as a professional footballer with Newcastle United as a youngster. He did not feature in the Newcastle first team, but was named as a substitute on a number of occasions. He then had spells on loan at Doncaster Rovers and Oldham Athletic before being released by Newcastle in the summer of 2004. Workington Workington assistant manager Tony Elliott, a former goalkeeper but at the time not attached to the club, recommended him to Workington manager Tommy Cassidy. Swadlincote is a former mining town in the district of South Derbyshire, England, lying within The National Forest area. It borders the counties of Leicestershire and Staffordshire, south-east of Burton upon Trent and north-west of Ashby-de-la-Zouch, and south-west of Derby. Carl Dickinson
Carl Matthew Dickinson (born 31 March 1987) is an English football player and manager who currently plays for side Stratford Town. A defender, Dickinson started his career at Stoke City, and had loan spells at Icelandic club Víkingur and Blackpool before helping the "Potters" to win promotion into the Premier League in 2007–08. He then dropped out of the first team picture, and spent time on loan at Leeds United, Barnsley, and Portsmouth. He was sold to Watford for a £250,000 fee in July 2011 and was a first team regular in the 2011–12 campaign. Knowsley is a large village and civil parish in the Metropolitan Borough of Knowsley, Merseyside, England, commonly known as Knowsley Village. Historically part of Lancashire, at the 2001 Census it had a population of 11,343. It gave its name to the wider borough when it was formed in 1974. Matthew James Anthony Tootle (born 11 October 1990) is an English professional footballer who plays as a defender for National League North side Peterborough Sports. Career Crewe Alexandra Tootle was born in Widnes, Cheshire. Joining Crewe as an eight-year old, Tootle signed his first professional contract after making an impression on Crewe manager Gudjon Thordarsson in July 2009. Scott James Loach (born 27 May 1988) is an English professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Derby County. Loach previously played for Ipswich Town, Watford and Hartlepool United.
