2016–17 Kosovo Basketball Superleague
The 2016–17 Kosovo Basketball SuperLeague was the 23rd season of the Kosovo Basketball Superleague. The season started on October 8, 2016, and ended on May 24, 2017. Sigal Prishtina won its thirteenth title. Teams KB Rahoveci has been promoted to the league after winning 2015–16 Kosovo Basketball First League. 2015–16 Kosovo Basketball Superleague
The 2015–16 Kosovo Basketball Superleague season was the 22nd season of the Kosovo Basketball Superleague, the highest professional basketball league in Kosovo. The season started on October 3, 2015, and ended on May 18, 2016. Two days before the new season, Kastrioti decided to leave the league due to financial problems so the league will remain with 7 teams for this season. Sigal Prishtina was the defending champion. Rahovec ( sq-definite, Rahoveci) or Orahovac (Serbian Cyrillic: Ораховац) is a town and municipality located in the District of Prizren in western Kosovo. According to the 2011 census, the town of Rahovec has 15,892 inhabitants, while the municipality has 56,208 inhabitants. The 2016–17 FIBA Europe Cup was the 2nd season of the FIBA Europe Cup, a European basketball club competition organised by FIBA Europe. The season began on 18 October 2016, with the regular season, and concluded on April 25, 2017, with the second leg of the Finals. KB Ylli, known as Golden Eagle Ylli for sponsorship reasons, is a professional basketball club based in Suva Reka, Kosovo. The club currently plays in the Kosovo Basketball Superleague.
