2016–17 HockeyAllsvenskan Season
The 2016–17 HockeyAllsvenskan season was the 12th season since the second tier of ice hockey in Sweden was renamed. The league featured 14 teams, each playing each other four times, for a total of 52 regular season games. Participating teams Regular season Standings Post-season Finals In the HockeyAllsvenskan finals ( sv, HockeyAllsvenska finalen), the first and second place teams from the regular season met in a best-of-five series, where the winner advanced to the SHL qualifiers, and the losing team continued to a playoff to the SHL qualifiers. HockeyAllsvenskan (previously Allsvenskan and SuperAllsvenskan) is a professional ice hockey sports league, league, and the second-highest league in the Sweden, Swedish ice hockey system (after the Swedish Hockey League, SHL). AIK IF
Allmänna Idrottsklubben Ishockeyförening (abbreviated ''AIK IF'', also known as ''AIK Hockey'', often abbreviated ''AIK'' in hockey subjects), is the ice hockey department of sports club Allmänna Idrottsklubben based in Stockholm, Sweden. Since 2014, AIK's men's team compete in HockeyAllsvenskan, the second tier of ice hockey in Sweden, following a four-year spell in the top flight, the SHL. Karlskoga
Karlskoga () is a locality and the seat of Karlskoga Municipality, Sweden. Located within Örebro County, 45 km (28 mi) west of Örebro, and 10 km (6 mi) north of Degerfors. T3 Center
Winpos Arena is an indoor arena in Umeå, Sweden. It is the home arena of the IF Björklöven and Tegs SK ice hockey teams. Its current capacity is 5,400 spectators. The arena was first opened on 17 December 1963 as ''Umeå ishall'' and rebuilt as ''Umeå Arena'' in 2001, which was the name until 2005. On 1 October 2008, the name was reverted to Umeå Arena after a new sponsor deal. On 17 September 2013, the arena was renamed ''T3 Center'' after the Swedish telecommunication company T3 bought the naming rights for at least the following five seasons (through the 2017–18 season). Metallåtervinning Arena
Upplands Bilforum Arena is an indoor arena located in Uppsala, Sweden, and built in 1974. It consists of three arenas: "A-hallen", "B-hallen" and "C-hallen". A-hallen is the biggest part of the arena and has a capacity of 2,800 spectators and is where Almtuna IS and Uppsala HC play their home games. B-hallen has a capacity of 350 spectators, and C-hallen has a capacity of 250. Hovet
Hovet (formerly known as Johanneshovs Isstadion or, in English: Johanneshov Stadium) is an arena located in the Johanneshov district of Stockholm (Stockholm Globe City) which is mainly used for ice hockey, concerts and corporate events. It was opened in 1955 as an outdoor arena, however a roof was added in 1962, and the arena interior has also been a subject to major renovation in 2002. Södertälje Sportklubb, also known as Södertälje SK and often referred to as SSK, is a Swedish professional ice hockey club playing in HockeyAllsvenskan, the second highest level of pro hockey in Sweden. Södertälje were charter members of Elitserien when the league was founded in 1975 and have since played 24 seasons in the league (1975–1978, 1980–1981, 1983–1992, 1996–1998, 2001–2006, 2007–2011). Idrottsklubben Pantern Known as IK Pantern, were a Swedish ice hockey club based in Malmö. The Club was reformed as IshockeyKlubben Pantern History IK Pantern was founded in 1959.
