Wyoming's state elections were held on November 8, 2016. All 60 seats of the Wyoming Legislature and 15 seats (half) of the Wyoming Senate were up for election. Bernadine Craft
Bernadine L. Craft is an American politician and a former Democratic member of the Wyoming State Senate and previously a member of Wyoming House of Representatives, and had represented the 12th district from January 7, 2013 to January 10, 2017. Craft first ran for and won a seat in the Wyoming House of Representatives in 2006, representing the city of Rock Springs. In 2012, Craft announced that she would run for the 12th district in the Wyoming Senate, replacing outgoing Marty Martin. JoAnn Dayton succeeded Craft as the Democratic nominee, but lost to Stephen Watt. Craft, on the other hand, won the election without any opposition. Tyler Lindholm
Tyler Lindholm (born May 18, 1983) is an American politician and former state legislator for Wyoming. A member of the Republican Party, Lindholm represented the 1st district in the Wyoming House of Representatives from 2015 to 2020. Lindholm helped craft legislation in Wyoming designed to attract cryptocurrency start-ups and diversify the economy. A company he helped start was BeefChain, a tracking system for cattle and beef which used the Cardano blockchain. James Lee Anderson
James Lee Anderson (born July 24, 1948) is an American politician and a Republican member of the Wyoming Senate representing District 28 since January 7, 2013. During the 2012 presidential election he and Eli Bebout served as co-chairs of Mitt Romney's presidential campaign in Wyoming. Dave Kinskey is an American politician and a Republican member of the Wyoming State Senate, representing the 22nd district since July 8, 2014. He previously served, from 2005 until his appointment to the State Senate, as the Mayor of Sheridan, Wyoming. Wyatt Agar (born October 2, 1981) is an American politician, rancher, partner, and deacon from Thermopolis, Wyoming who served in the Wyoming Senate from 2017 to 2021, representing the 20th legislative district of Wyoming as a Republican in the 64th and 65th Wyoming Legislatures. Gerald Geis
Gerald Eugene Geis (August 31, 1933 – November 2, 2022) was an American politician who served as a Republican member of the Wyoming Senate, representing the 20th district from 1975 to 1986 and from 1993 until his retirement in 2017. Early life Geis was born August 31, 1933, in a cabin near Ten Sleep, Wyoming. He moved to Worland in 1944 and graduated from Worland High School in 1951. Career Geis worked in road construction and hauling livestock and was first asked to enter politics in 1974 whilst attending the Wyoming Truckers Convention. In 1976 he helped create Wyoming's senior citizen centers. He ran for Wyoming Secretary of State in 1986 but was defeated in the primary by 62 votes. Geis was reappointed to the Senate in 1993.
