2016 Men's British Open
The Men's Allam British Open 2016 is the men's edition of the 2016 British Open Squash Championships, which is a PSA World Series event (Prize money : 150,000 $). The event took place at the Sports Arena in Hull in England from 21 to 27 March. Mohamed El Shorbagy won his second British Open trophy, beating Ramy Ashour in the final. The British Open Squash Championships is the oldest tournament in the game of squash. He is a former World Champion, and reached a career-high world ranking of World No. 3 in February 2019. Ali Farag
Ali Amr Farag (; born 22 April 1992) is an Egyptian professional squash player. He is the 2018–19, 2020–21 and 2021–22 World Champion, and is currently ranked as world No. 1 by the Professional Squash Association (PSA). Education Farag graduated from Harvard University in 2014 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Farag also graduated as one of the best squash players in college history, suffering only two defeats in his three years. As a member of Harvard's Varsity Squash Team, Farag won two individual national titles and helped lead Harvard to its first team title in 17 years in 2014. Mazen Hesham (born 29 March 1994 in Cairo) is a professional squash player who represents Egypt. He reached a career-high world ranking of World No. 8 in March 2022. Career Hesham first became prominent in 2012, when he secured third place in the WSF junior championships in Doha. Following this victory he joined the PSA world Tour. Hesham secured his first PSA world tour title in March of the same year in the NSC scram series in Kuala Lampur, Malaysia.
