Adrian Waller (squash Player)
Adrian Waller (born 26 December 1989 in Enfield) is a professional squash player who represents England. Career Waller won British Junior National titles at various age categories before joining the PSA Tour. In 2017, he was part of the England team that won the silver medal at the World Team Championships in Marseille and repeated the success two years later at the 2019 Championships. In 2018, he won a silver medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in the men's doubles with Daryl Selby. During the 2019-20 season he won the Life Time Chicago Open. In November 2019, he hit a career best world ranking (at the time) of 17. In 2021, he finished runner up to Joel Makin at the British National Squash Championships. In 2022, he won two more Commonwealth Games silver medals, at the 2022 Commonwealth Games. Also in 2022, he won his 10th tour title after winning the Jansher Khan Canberra Open. Joel Makin
Joel Makin (, born 27 October 1994) is a Welsh professional squash player. Makin was born in Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire. He played squash at Aberdare Junior Squash Club under coaches Bob Gould, Clive Roberts and Dave Cope, and represented Wales at Under-13s level in 2007. He left Aberdare at 18 and, forgoing university, trained at West Warwickshire Club under the guidance of Rob Owen. He won the Kent Open in 2017, beating Josh Masters in straight sets, and the Tring Open in 2018. He reached the semifinals of the men’s singles squash competition at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, losing out to Mohd Nafiizwan Adnan in the bronze medal match. Makin qualified for the 2018 British Open Squash Championships where he lost in the first round to Mohamed Abouelghar. He beat the world number one, Mohamed El Shorbagy, to reach the quarterfinals of the Channel VAS Championships in October 2018. European Squash Team Championships
The European Team Championships (ETC) are the international squash competition played between teams representing different nations organised by the European Squash Federation. Countries enter teams of four or five players to represent them in the championships. In each round of the competition, teams face each other in a best-of-four singles matches contest. Each competition is held once every year. Squash At The 2022 Commonwealth Games
Squash is among the sports contested at the 2022 Commonwealth Games, to be held in Birmingham, England. This will be the seventh staging of squash at the Commonwealth Games since its debut in 1998, and the second staging within England specifically. The competition is scheduled to take place between 29 July and 8 August 2022. British National Squash Championships
The British National Squash Championships are the national squash championships for players from the United Kingdom & Ireland. They are held annually in early February, currently in Nottingham. The Championships were inaugurated in 1974 are not to be confused with the British Open Squash Championships which is open to all nationalities and is the oldest squash tournament. The championships also involve masters events for British squash players in different age groups. Daryl Selby (born 3 November 1982 in Harlow) is a former professional squash player who represented England. He reached a career-high world ranking of World No. 9 in April 2010. His sister is professional squash player Lauren Selby. He attended Brentwood School, Essex as his secondary school between 1994 and 2001. Career overview Selby won the British National Squash Championships in 2011, defeating the reigning World Champion and World No.1, Nick Matthew in the final 9-11, 11-9, 6-11, 11-9, 11-7 (84m).
