2016 Kelantan FA Season
The 2016 season was Kelantan's 8th season in the Malaysia Super League since being promoted and 21st successive season in the top flight of Malaysian football league system. They were also eligible to compete in Malaysia FA Cup starting from the second round and Malaysia Cup after placed in 6th place at the end of 2016 Malaysia Super League first leg. Kelantan FA
Kelantan Football Club ( ms, Kelab Bola Sepak Kelantan) is a Malaysian professional football club based in Kota Bharu, Kelantan. The club plays in the Malaysia Super League, the top tier of Malaysian football since 2023. Founded in 1946, the club have a long-standing rivalry with Terengganu, the two east coast clubs involved in what is known as the East Coast Derby. Their home is the 22,000-seat Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium. Kelantan's regular kit colours are red shirt and shorts with a white pattern on the side. 2016 Piala FA
The 2016 Malaysia FA Cup was the 27th season of the Malaysia FA Cup, a knockout competition for Malaysia's state football association and clubs. It was sponsored by Kopi Superbest Power (''Superbest Power Coffee''), and was known as the Superbest Power Piala FA due to sponsorship purposes. LionsXII were the defending champions after beating Kelantan 3–1 in the previous season, but did not compete in this edition. 35 teams entered this years competition. Six teams entered in the first stage with three clubs making the Second Round. The draw for the competition was made on 9 January 2016. The winners were assured a place in the 2017 AFC Cup. Kelantan
Kelantan (; Jawi: ; Kelantanese Malay: ''Klate'') is a state in Malaysia. The capital is Kota Bharu and royal seat is Kubang Kerian. Kota Bharu
Kota Bharu, colloquially referred to as KB, is a town in Malaysia that serves as the state capital and royal seat of Kelantan. It is situated in the northeastern part of Peninsular Malaysia and lies near the mouth of the Kelantan River. Wan Zack Haikal bin Wan Noor (born 28 January 1991) is a Malaysian professional footballer who plays as a striker or midfielder, for Perak FC in the Malaysia Super League. Dramane Traoré (born 17 June 1982) is a Malian former professional footballer who played as a striker. He made 30 appearances scoring 7 goals for the Mali national team. International career Traoré was a regular for the Mali national team. He was part of Mali's 2004 Olympic football team, which exited in the quarter finals, finishing top of group A, but losing to Italy in the next round. Marko Perović ( sr-Cyrl, Марко Перовић, ; born 11 January 1984) is a former Serbian professional footballer who currently the assistant coach of Serbia national football team. Club career Red Star Belgrade Perović came through the ranks of KF Prishtina before moving to Red Star Belgrade. He made an impact at Red Star, proving to be an energetic and skillful player.
