The 2016 Copa Luis Villarejo was the first edition of the Copa Luis Villarejo, a cup tournament for clubs in Puerto Rico organized by the Puerto Rican Football Federation. The champions and runners-up of this tournament are eligible to enter the 2017 Caribbean Club Championship, which serves as a qualifying tournament for the 2017 CONCACAF League and 2018 CONCACAF Champions League. Puerto Rico FC
Puerto Rico FC was a professional football club based in Bayamón, Puerto Rico. Founded in 2015, the team played in the North American Soccer League (NASL), the second tier of the American soccer pyramid. The team debuted in the 2016 fall season. The team played its home games at the Juan Ramón Loubriel Stadium until the stadium was severely damaged by Hurricane Maria in September 2017. The team last played during the 2017 NASL season. Brian Bement (born July 2, 1993) is an American soccer player who plays for St. Louis Ambush of the Major Arena Soccer League. Career Bement played college soccer at Loyola University Chicago between 2011 and 2014. Puerto Rico FC Bement signed with Puerto Rico Football Club of the North American Soccer League on March 31, 2016.
