North Carolina FC is an American professional soccer team in Cary, North Carolina, a suburb of Raleigh. Founded in 2006, the team plays in USL League One, the third tier of the American league system. The team has played its home games at the 10,000-seat WakeMed Soccer Park since 2007. The team's colors are Atlantic blue, cardinal red, and Southern gold. On December 6, 2016, the Carolina RailHawks announced a name change to North Carolina Football Club in pursuit of becoming a Major League Soccer franchise. The club's home attendance record had been broken earlier that year when 10,125 attended a match against West Ham United of the English Premier League. Whitecaps FC 2 is a professional soccer team based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada that serves as the reserve team of the Vancouver Whitecaps FC of Major League Soccer. Billy Schuler
William Jason Schuler (born April 27, 1990) is an American soccer player. Career Youth and college A resident of Allentown, New Jersey, Schuler attended Peddie School. Schuler played three seasons over four years (redshirting his junior year after an injury) at the University of North Carolina. Professional Schuler signed with Hammarby IF of Sweden's Superettan after the 2011 NCAA season. He spent two years in Sweden, scoring two goals for Hammarby in 26 appearances. He signed with Major League Soccer in January 2014 and was assigned to the San Jose Earthquakes by a weighted lottery. Schuler made his Earthquakes' debut on March 19, 2014 in a 1–1 draw against Toluca in the 2013–14 CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinals. Schuler was released by San Jose on December 11, 2014. FC Edmonton was a Canadian professional soccer club based in Edmonton, Alberta. The club was founded in 2010 and competed in the North American Soccer League (NASL) from 2011 to 2017. Aly Alberto Hassan (born May 15, 1989) is an American Professional soccer player. Career On March 19, 2012, the Strikers announced that Hassan had signed professional terms with the Fort Lauderdale Strikers following a successful preseason trial. Hassan made his professional debut with the Strikers against FC Edmonton on April 7, 2012, in the first game of the 2012 NASL season. Hassan was sent off 40 minutes into the match, following a questionable tackle on Edmonton's Fabrice Lassonde. Matthew Watson (born 1 January 1985) is an English former professional footballer who will join the coaching staff of FC Tulsa in USL Championship on 1 January 2023. Career College Watson grew up in England, but chose to attend the University of Maryland, Baltimore County in the United States. He played two seasons for the UMBC Retrievers in 2004 and 2005. Marvin José Ceballos Flores (born 22 April 1992) is a Guatemalan professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Liga Nacional club Xinabajul and the Guatemala national team.
