Tashkent
Tashkent (, uz, Toshkent, Тошкент/, ) (from russian: Ташкент), or Toshkent (; ), also historically known as Chach is the capital and largest city of Uzbekistan. Abdullo Tangriev (born 28 March 1981) is an Uzbek judoka. He won a silver medal in the +100 kg category of the 2008 Olympic Games. Early life Abdullo Tangriev was born on 28 March 1981, in Surxondaryo Region. He was engaged with judo from the age 10. From 1995 he started training in Chirchiq Olympics school. is a Japanese judoka. He won a medal at the 2019 World Judo Championships. He won the 2021 World Judo Championships in the heavyweight division. Maxim Rakov (born 7 February 1986) is a Kazakhstani judoka. Rakov won the 2009 World Championship in the men's half-heavyweight (−100 kg) division, beating Henk Grol in the final. He won the silver medal at the 2011 World Championships, losing to Tagir Khaybulaev in the final. Previously, he had competed in the middleweight (−90 kg) category, winning a silver medal at the 2006 Asian Games. In 2007 he had a shoulder injury that required surgery. Ramziddin Sayidov (born 14 April 1982) is an Uzbekistani judoka. Participating at the 2004 Olympics, he was stopped in the round of 32 by Siarhei Shundzikau of Belarus. He won a bronze medal in the middleweight (90 kg) category of the 2006 Asian Games, having defeated Hossein Ghomi of Iran for the bronze medal.
