The 2015–16 Newcastle Jets FC season was the club's 15th season since its establishment in 2000. The club participated in the A-League for the 11th time and the FFA Cup for the second time. Newcastle United Jets Football Club, commonly known as Newcastle Jets, is an Australian professional soccer club based in Newcastle, New South Wales. It competes in the country's premier competition, the A-League, under licence from The Australian Professional Leagues (APL). formerly under licence by Football Australia. The club was formed in 2000 when it joined the National Soccer League (NSL) and was one of only three former NSL clubs to join in the formation of the A-League. Newcastle Jets have won one A-League championship, after defeating rivals Central Coast Mariners 1–0 in the 2008 A-League Grand Final. Boogaard currently plays for Charlestown Azzurri in the Northern NSW Football National Premier Leagues competition. Radovan Pavicevic (born 28 August 1995) is an Australian professional footballer who currently plays as a striker for Bonnyrigg White Eagles. Career Early life and career Pavicevic is the son of Andrej Pavicevic, an Australian racing car driver. Radovan was also involved in racing Go-Karts, and still holds lap records as a rookie at Newcastle Kart Racing Club at Cameron Park. Enver Alivodić (; born 27 December 1984) is a Serbian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career Early years Alivodić started out at his hometown club Novi Pazar, making his senior debuts in 2001.
