Newcastle Jets FC
Newcastle United Jets Football Club, commonly known as Newcastle Jets, is an Australian professional soccer club based in Newcastle, New South Wales. It competes in the country's premier competition, the A-League, under licence from The Australian Professional Leagues (APL). formerly under licence by Football Australia. The club was formed in 2000 when it joined the National Soccer League (NSL) and was one of only three former NSL clubs to join in the formation of the A-League. Newcastle Jets have won one A-League championship, after defeating rivals Central Coast Mariners 1–0 in the 2008 A-League Grand Final. In 2009, Newcastle competed in the AFC Champions League for the first time, reaching the Round of 16. In May 2015, FFA revoked Newcastle's licence after owner Nathan Tinkler placed the club into voluntary administration. Nigel Boogaard ( ; born 14 August 1986) is a former Australian professional footballer who played as a central defender in the A-League. Boogaard currently plays for Charlestown Azzurri in the Northern NSW Football National Premier Leagues competition. Club career Central Coast Mariners Coming from the Weston Workers Bears, Boogaard has had a rollercoaster career. He scored his first A-League goal for the Mariners in a match against bitter rivals Newcastle Jets on 14 August 2009 (also his 23rd birthday). Morten Nordstrand Nielsen (; born 8 June 1983) is a Danish former professional association football, footballer, who played as a Forward (association football), striker. Radovan Pavicevic (born 28 August 1995) is an Australian professional footballer who currently plays as a striker for Bonnyrigg White Eagles. Career Early life and career Pavicevic is the son of Andrej Pavicevic, an Australian racing car driver. Radovan was also involved in racing Go-Karts, and still holds lap records as a rookie at Newcastle Kart Racing Club at Cameron Park. Pavicevic attended, and played for Westfields Sports High School winning the 2010 Bill Turner Cup, as well as Marconi Stallions, before signing a youth contract with the Newcastle Jets youth team. In 2014 Pavicevic severely broke his arm during a Northern NSW NPL fixture against South Cardiff FC, having run into the perimeter fence surrounding the field during the game. Mateo Hrvatsko Poljak (; born 10 September 1989) is a Croatian footballer who last played as a Defensive midfielder for Mt Druitt Town Rangers. Enver Alivodić
Enver Alivodić (; born 27 December 1984) is a Serbian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career Early years Alivodić started out at his hometown club Novi Pazar, making his senior debuts in 2001. He also spent some time on loan at Radnički Niš (2002), before moving to Čukarički in the summer of 2004. In his debut season at the club, Alivodić scored three goals from 27 appearances in the top flight, but failed to save them from relegation.
