2015–16 New Zealand Football Championship
The 2015–16 New Zealand Football Championship season (currently known as the ''ASB Premiership'' for sponsorship reasons) is the twelfth season of the NZFC since its establishment in 2004. Eight teams are involved this season, after Wanderers SC withdrew from the competition. New Zealand Football Championship
The New Zealand Football Championship ( mi, Te Whakataetae Whutupaoro a Aotearoa) was a men's association football league at the top of the New Zealand league system. Founded in 2004, the New Zealand Football Championship was the successor to a myriad of short-lived football leagues in the country, including the National Soccer League, the National Summer Soccer League and the New Zealand Superclub League. The league was contested by ten teams in a franchise system. For sponsorship reasons, the competition was known as the ISPS Handa Men's Premiership. From the 2021-22 season, it was replaced by the New Zealand National League. The seasons used to run from October through to April, and consist of an eighteen-round regular season followed by a playoff series involving the four highest-placed teams, culminating in a Grand Final. Hi-Chew
is a Japanese fruit candy sold by Morinaga & Company. Origin Hi-Chew candy was first released in 1975. It was re-released in the packaging of individually wrapped candies in February 1996. The origins of Hi-Chew began when Taichiro Morinaga sought to create an edible kind of chewing gum that could be swallowed because of the Japanese cultural taboo against taking food out of one's mouth. Morinaga already produced caramel. By combining his chewy caramel with flavoring, Morinaga was able to create his new candy called Chewlets in 1931. Morinaga, whose business was hampered immensely by World War II, had to rebuild his company from scratch, and Chewlets were reintroduced in the form of Hi-Chews, as they are known today. Ramon Tribulietx Santolaya (born 20 September 1972) is a Spanish football coach and former player. Tribulietx holds the world record for the most trophies in continental competitions, winning seven straight OFC Champions League titles with Auckland City between 2011 and 2017. North Harbour Stadium is a stadium situated in Albany, in North Shore City, New Zealand. It was opened in 1997, after nearly a decade of discussion, planning and construction. Kiwitea Street, also known as Freyberg Field, is a multi-purpose stadium in the suburb of Sandringham in Auckland, New Zealand. Sandringham is a suburb of Auckland, New Zealand. It is a multi-ethnic suburb with a population of over 12,000. Sandringham Village is a walk of a few hundred metres south along Sandringham Rd from the Outer Link bus route, and has a strong South Asian influence in restaurants and small supermarkets, Halal butchers and Bollywood movies.
