2015–16 Liverpool F.C. Season
The 2015–16 season was Liverpool F.C., Liverpool Football Club's List of Liverpool F.C. seasons, 124th season in existence and their 54th consecutive season in the top flight of Football in England, English football. It was also the club's 24th consecutive season in the Premier League. Along with the 2015–16 Premier League, Premier League, Liverpool competed in the 2015–16 FA Cup, FA Cup, 2015–16 Football League Cup, Football League Cup and 2015–16 UEFA Europa League, UEFA Europa League. The season covered the period from 1 July 2015 to 30 June 2016. Mamadou Sakho (born 13 February 1990) is a French professional footballer who plays as a centre back for Ligue 1 club Montpellier. Sakho began his career at Paris FC before moving to Paris Saint-Germain's youth system in 2002. In October 2007, on his league debut, he became the youngest player ever to captain a Ligue 1 club. Lazar Marković ( sr-Cyrl, Лазар Марковић, ; born 2 March 1994) is a Serbian professional footballer who plays as a winger for Turkish Süper Lig club Trabzonspor on loan from Gaziantep. Jordan Brian Henderson (born 17 June 1990) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for club Liverpool and the England national team. LA Galaxy, also known as the Los Angeles Galaxy, are an American professional soccer club based in the Los Angeles metropolitan area.
