2015–16 Armenian Cup
The 2015–16 Armenian Cup is the 25th season of Armenia's Association football, football knockout competition. It featured the eight 2015–16 Armenian Premier League, 2015–16 Premier League teams, but no team from the 2015–16 Armenian First League, 2015–16 First Division. The tournament began on 21 October 2015, with FC Pyunik, Pyunik the defending champions, having won their seventh title the 2014–15 Armenian Cup, previous season. Results Quarter-finals All eight Premier League clubs competed in this round. The first legs were played on 21 and 28 October 2015, while the second legs were played on 4 and 25 November 2015. The 2014–15 Armenian Cup was the 24th season of Armenia's football knockout competition. It featured the eight 2014–15 Premier League teams, but no team from the 2014–15 First Division. The tournament began on 1 October 2014, with Pyunik the defending champions, having won their six title the previous season. Results Quarter-finals All eight Premier League clubs competed in this round. The first legs were played on 17 September and 1 October 2014, while the second legs were played on 20 October and 15 November 2014. Semi-finals The four winners from the quarterfinals entered this round. The first legs were played on 18 and 19 March 2015, with the second legs to be competed on 15 and 16 April 2015. Kapan
Kapan ( hy, Կապան) is a town in southeast Armenia, serving as the administrative center of the urban community of Kapan as well as the provincial capital of Syunik Province. It is located in the valley of the Voghji River and is on the northern slopes of Mount Khustup. According to the 2011 census, the population of Kapan was 43,190, a slight decline from 45,711 in the 2001 census. However, the current population of the town is around 34,600 as per the 2016 official estimate. Gandzasar Stadium
Gandzasar Stadium ( hy, Գանձասար մարզադաշտ) is a multi-purpose stadium in Kapan, the capital of Syunik Province, Armenia. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of Gandzasar. With a capacity of 3,500, Gandzasar Stadium is located at the centre of the town of Kapan, on the left bank of Voghji River, between Aram Manukian and Hovhannes Tumanyan streets. Lubambo Musonda (born 1 March 1995) is a Zambian professional footballer who plays as a left winger for Danish Superliga club Silkeborg IF, on loan from AC Horsens, and the Zambia national team. Gegham Harutyunyan (born 23 August 1990) is an Armenian professional footballer who last played as a forward for Van. Club career Harutyunyan's first senior club was Ulisses, with whom he made his debut for in the 2008 Armenian Cup. Harutyunyan's first appearance in league football came in 2012 vs. Mika.
