Zuiderduin Masters
The Finder Darts Masters was a darts tournament held in Egmond aan Zee, Netherlands, sanctioned by the British Darts Organisation and the World Darts Federation, running intermittently under several different names from 1995 to 2018. The tournament was previously known as the Zuiderduin Masters from 2007 to 2014, as the Leendesk Masters in 2005, as the Doeland Grand Masters from 2001 to 2004, as the European Grand Masters in 2000, and as the Dutch Grand Masters in 1995 and 1996. It was held in December and was traditionally the last BDO event held before the annual World Championship. The tournament was an unranked event until 2008, when it was installed as a ranking event, along with the World Championships and the World Masters, following the cancellation of the World Darts Trophy and the International Darts League. Scott Waites
Scott Waites (born 17 February 1977) is an English professional darts player who plays in tournaments of the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). He is a two-time BDO World Darts Champion having won the 2013 tournament and 2016 tournament. He is also a former Winmau World Masters champion, WDF World Cup singles' champion, Zuiderduin Masters champion. He also won the 2010 Grand Slam of Darts, becoming the only BDO representative to win the event. Career Waites' first career success came in February 2007 when he won the Dutch Open an event which attracted 2867 entries. He also took the Welsh Masters title in March 2007 and earlier reached the final of the 2007 Scottish Open. Remco Van Eijden
Remco van Eijden (born 12 September 1977) is a Dutch former darts player. Career Van Eijden previously played in the British Darts Organisation and he played in the 2008 BDO World Darts Championship, beating fellow Dutchman Mario Robbe in the first round, only to lost in the second round to third seed Scott Waites. In November 2008, van Eijden began playing on the PDC circuit, playing in the two PDPA Players Championships in the Netherlands, reaching the quarter finals in the second event. He then reached the third round of the PDC German Darts Championship. He then played in the 2009 PDC World Darts Championship having been offered and accepted an SBS6 wildcard. Geert De Vos
Geert De Vos (born 6 October 1981) is a Belgian darts player. His nickname is "Foxy". Career In 2012, De Vos qualified for the first time for BDO World Darts Championship; this performance led to a wildcard for the Zuiderduin Masters. During this tournament, he lost his first match against the eventual winner Scott Waites 5–3. During the World Championship, De Vos played Tony West, the eleventh seed. Tony O'Shea
Tony O'Shea (born 9 May 1961) is an English professional darts player. His squat figure has resulted in the nickname "Silverback". O'Shea has reached the finals of seven British Darts Organisation (BDO) major darts tournaments, but to date has never won one. He also acts as a regular commentator for televised BDO coverage. Darius Labanauskas (born 26 July 1976) is a Lithuanian professional darts player who plays in the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. In 2015, he was the WDF world number 1. Career BDO Labanauskas is a three-time Lithuania National Champion and won the Lithuania Open in 2011 and 2013. He also won the Baltic Cup Open in 2013, the Estonian Open in 2012 and 2013, and in 2014 he won the Trakai Castle Cup, the Riga Open and the Riga Masters. Darryl Fitton
Darryl Fitton (born 5 May 1962) is an English professional darts player. He is nicknamed The Dazzler and comes to the stage dancing to the Madness song "One Step Beyond" wearing sunglasses; one of the most popular walk-ons with the audience. Before embarking on a career in darts, Fitton worked as an undertaker. Darts career Fitton's first TV appearance was against Peter Manley in the 1997 PDC World Matchplay. However, he lost 8-6, and has not made another PDC appearance since. Scott Mitchell (born 5 June 1970) is an English professional darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation tournaments. His most notable achievement was winning the 2015 BDO World Darts Championship. Darts career Early career Before he made his mark in the BDO, Mitchell qualified for the 2007 UK Open, winning his first round match 8–4 against Brian Cathcart before losing out in the second round to 2006 Lakeside World champion Jelle Klaasen. Danny Noppert (born 31 December 1990) is a Dutch professional darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. He is a former BDO World Darts Championship finalist, as well as being a Finder Darts Masters champion in 2017, before switching to the PDC in 2018, where he won the 2022 UK Open. Pip Blackwell
Philip 'Pip' Blackwell (born 27 November 1974) is an English former professional darts player who plays in British Darts Organisation tournaments. Career Pip Blackwell started to play darts when he was 11.
