2015 Sudan Premier League
The 2015 Sudan Premier League is the 44th season of top-tier football in Sudan. The season began play on 26 January 2015. Al Hilal Omdurman are the defending champions, having won their 28th championship, more than the rest of the clubs in the league combined. The league comprises 15 teams, the bottom three of which will be relegated to regional leagues for 2016, while the next lowest team will compete in a playoff with a regional league team for a spot in the 2016 Sudan Premier League. Teams A total of 15 teams will contest the league, including 12 sides from the 2014 season and four promoted from the regional leagues as the Sudan Premier League expanded to 15 teams this season. The four newcomers from the regional leagues are Al Ahli Wad Medani, Al Merghani, Hilal Obayed and Merikh Kosti. Kaduqli
Kaduqli or Kadugli ( ar, كادوقلي ' Sudanese pronunciation: ) is the capital city of South Kordofan State, Sudan. It is located south of El-Obeid, at the northern edge of the White Nile plain in the Nuba Mountains. It contains Hilal Stadium. Economy It is a trading centre for gum arabic and livestock. Shendi
Shendi or Shandi ( ar, شندي) is a small city in northern Sudan, situated on the southeastern bank of the Nile River 150 km northeast of Khartoum. Shandi is also about 45 km southwest of the ancient city of Meroë. Located in the River Nile state, Shandi is the center of the Ja'alin tribe and an important historic trading center. It's principal suburb on the west bank is Matamma. A major traditional trade route across the Bayuda Desert connects Matamma to Merowe and Napata, 250 km to the northwest. The city is the historical capital of the powerful Arabised Nubian Ja'alin tribe whom most of its denizens belong to. Wad Madani
Wad Madani ( ar, ود مدني, Wad Madanī) or Madani is the capital of the Al Jazirah state in east-central Sudan. "Wad Madani" (population), Microsoft Encarta, Online Encyclopedia 2001. The Khartoum International Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Khartoum, Sudan. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium has a capacity of 23,000 people. The 2014 Girabola was the 36th season of top-tier football league in Angola. The season ran from 21 February to 8 November 2014. Al-Ittihad Sports Club ( ar, نادي الاتحاد الرياضي) also known as Ittihad Wad Madani is a Sudanese football club based in Wad Madani.
