The 2015 Kirkland Tennis Challenger was a professional tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It was the first edition of the tournament and part of the 2015 ITF Women's Circuit, offering a total of $50,000 in prize money. ITF Women's Circuit
The ITF Women's World Tennis Tour, previously known as the ITF Women's Circuit, is a series of professional tennis tournaments run by the International Tennis Federation for female professional tennis players. History It serves as a developmental circuit for the WTA Tour, which is run by the independent Women's Tennis Association (WTA). There are several hundred ITF Women's Circuit tournaments each year, spread across all six inhabited continents, with prize money ranging from US$15,000 to US$100,000. Players who succeed on the ITF Women's Circuit earn sufficient points to be eligible for qualifying draw or main draw entry to WTA tournaments. Until 2011 the ITF Women's Circuit was the level immediately below the main WTA Tour, but in 2012 the WTA introduced an intermediate level, the WTA 125K series. Julia Boserup
Julia Boserup (born September 9, 1991) is an American retired tennis player of Danish descent. Boserup began playing tennis at age six, after her mother, a native of Denmark, enrolled her in group tennis lessons. She was home schooled in high school, which allowed her to focus more time on her tennis career which began in 2006. In 2017, she reached her highest WTA singles ranking of world No. 80, whilst her best doubles ranking was No. 218. However, she suffered from injuries, and in May 2019, she announced her retirement. Junior accomplishments Boserup won the USTA Orange Bowl in 2008, outlasting fellow American Christina McHale in three sets, in the final match. Arantxa Rus
Arantxa Rus (; born 13 December 1990) is a Dutch tennis player. In 2008, she won the girl's singles title at the 2008 Australian Open – Girls' singles, Australian Open, defeating Jessica Moore (tennis), Jessica Moore from Australia in the final. With this win she went from 35th to second place on the junior rankings, ultimately becoming the world No. 1 junior player. Lesley Kerkhove
Lesley Pattinama Kerkhove (born 4 November 1991) is a professional tennis player from the Netherlands. She has won one doubles title on the WTA Tour, as well as nine singles and 17 doubles titles on the ITF Circuit. On 6 June 2022, she reached her best singles ranking of world No. 135. Heidi El Tabakh
Heidi El Tabakh (born September 25, 1986) is an Egyptian-born Canadian former professional tennis player. Her highest singles ranking by the WTA is 146, which she reached in October 2012. Her career-high of 173 in doubles, she set in February 2010. She represented Egypt, the country of her birth, from 2002 to April 2005, but since then has represented Canada. Ashley Weinhold (born June 20, 1989) is a former tennis player from the United States. She turned professional in 2007 and had her last appearance on the ITF Circuit in August 2018.
