The Karnataka State Film Awards 2015, presented by Government of Karnataka, to felicitate the best of Kannada Cinema released in the year 2015. The ceremony was held in Bengaluru on 13 November 2016. Lifetime achievement award For the first time a separate jury was appointed to select the Lifetime Achievement Awards under the chairmanship of veteran director S. K. Bhagavan. Jury A committee headed by Naganna was appointed to evaluate the awards. Siddaramaiah
Siddaramaiah (born 3 August 1947), also referred to by his nickname Siddu, Siddaramaiah served as Chief Minister of Karnataka from 13 May 2013 to 17 May 2018 and currently serving as the leader of the opposition in Karnataka Legislative Assembly since 9 December 2019. He belongs to Indian National Congress party and a member of Congress Working Committee. Siddaramaiah was a member of various Janata Parivar factions for several years. Earlier, as a Janata Dal (Secular) leader, he was the deputy chief minister of Karnataka on two occasions. On 13 May 2013 he was sworn in as the chief minister of Karnataka. He has presently continued as the opposition leader of Karnataka despite his resignation, which was not accepted at higher levels and continued his tenure. Shivayogi Sri Puttayyajja
''Shivayogi Sri Puttayyajja'' is a 2016 Indian Kannada biographical film directed by Hamsa Vijetha and produced by Shyam Mukund Navale. Starring Vijay Raghavendra in the titular role, the film also featured Shruti, Shashikumar, Anu Prabhakar and Abhijith in other pivotal roles. The film is based on the real life of Pandit Puttaraja Gawai (1914 - 2010), who was a scholar and a Hindustani traditional musician who was well noted for his social services. Vijay Raghavendra
Vijay Raghavendra is an Indian actor who appears predominantly in Kannada films. Referred to popularly as " Chinnari Mutha", Vijay is the son of producer S. A. Chinne Gowda and nephew of actor Dr.Rajkumar. Vijay started his career as a child artist through the film ''Chalisuva Modagalu'' (1982) and won critical acclaims for his performances in ''Chinnari Mutha'' (1993) and ''Kotreshi Kanasu'' (1994). Karnataka State Film Award for Best Actor is a state film award of the Indian state of Karnataka given during the annual Karnataka State Film Awards. The award honours Kannada Language films. Anup Bhandari
Anup Bhandari is an Indian film director, composer and lyricist who works primarily in Cinema of Karnataka, Kannada cinema. He made his directorial début with the mystery thriller film ''Rangitaranga'', featuring his brother Nirup Bhandari, in 2015. Early life Anup Bhandari was born on 2 March 1982 in Puttur, Karnataka to Sudhakar Bhandary and Rathna Bhandary. ''RangiTaranga'' (English: ''Colourful Wave'') is a 2015 Indian Kannada-language mystery thriller film written and directed by Anup Bhandari in his debut, and produced by H. K. Shashank (born 24 June 1972) is an Indian film director, screenwriter and lyricist who works in Kannada cinema. He made his debut as a director with the 2007 film '' Sixer''.
