''Krishna Leela'' is a 2015 Indian Kannada romance film written directed by Shashank and produced by Ajay Rao, making his debut at production under the Shree Krishna Arts and Creations banner. Besides Rao, the film features Mayuri Kyatari, making her film debut and Rangayana Raghu in pivotal roles. Shashank had revealed that the movie was inspired by a true incident that happened in 2010 in Bangalore. The film released on 20 March 2015 to positive reviews by critics. It completed the 100 days run successfully across theatres in Karnataka. This movie was remade in Bengali in 2021 as ''Miss Call''. Shashank (director)
Shashank (born 24 June 1972) is an Indian film director, screenwriter and lyricist who works in Kannada cinema. He made his debut as a director with the 2007 film '' Sixer''. His second directorial ''Moggina Manasu'' (2008) received critical acclaim for its screenplay and its coming-of-age theme. He went on to direct other successful films in the romance genre such as ''Krishnan Love Story'' (2010) and '' Krishna-Leela'' (2015). He is also credited to have introduced actors Yash and Radhika Pandit who went on to become successful actors in Kannada cinema. Sadhu Kokila
Sahaya Sheelan Shadrach (born 24 March 1966) known by his screen name Sadhu Kokila, is an Indian musician, actor, comedian, film director and producer, and an occasional screenwriter and lyricist who works in Kannada cinema. He began his career as a composer before taking to acting in films, appearing mostly in comic roles. He has also directed ten Kannada films, the most notable one being ''Raktha Kanneeru'' (2003).
