The 2015 Finnish Figure Skating Championships ( fi, SM2015, yksinluistelu ja jäätanssi) took place between December 19 and 21, 2014 at the Trio Areena in Vantaa. 2014–15 Figure Skating Season
The 2014–15 figure skating season began on July 1, 2014, and ended on June 30, 2015. During this season, elite skaters competed at the ISU Championship level in the 2015 European, Four Continents, World Junior, and World Championships. Other elite events included the Grand Prix series and Junior Grand Prix series, culminating in the Grand Prix Final, and the inaugural ISU Challenger Series. Season notes Beginning in the 2014–15 season, the minimum age for senior Grand Prix and senior B events increased from 14 to 15 to match the minimum age for ISU Championship events. Kiira Linda Katriina Korpi (; born 26 September 1988) is a Finnish figure skater. She is a three-time European medalist (bronze in 2007 and 2011, silver in 2012), the 2010 Trophée Eric Bompard champion, the 2012 Rostelecom Cup champion, a two-time Cup of China medalist, and a five-time Finnish national champion (2009, 2011–2013, 2015). She retired from competitive skating in August 2015. Personal life Korpi was born in Tampere, Finland. Her father, Rauno Korpi, coached the Finnish women's hockey team to a bronze medal at the 1998 Winter Olympics. Liubov Efimenko (born 20 June 1999) is a Finnish figure skater. She is the 2014 Finnish national silver medalist and has won three senior international medals, including bronze at the 2014 Nordics and silver at the 2016 Skate Helena. Timila, thimila or paani, (Malayalam:തിമില) is an hour-glass shaped percussion instrument used in Kerala, South India. It is made of polished ''jackwood'', and the drumheads made of calfskin (preferably taken from 1- to 2-year-old calf) are held together by leather braces which are also twined round the waist of the drum. This mechanism helps in adjusting the tension and controlling the sound, mainly two: 'tha' and 'thom'. It is one of the constituting instruments in Panchavadyam. Beata Leppilampi (née Papp (born 22 April 1995) is a Finnish former competitive figure skater. She placed 15th at the 2010 World Junior Championships and won two medals at the Finnish Championships. Personal life Beata Papp was born on 22 April 1995 in Kuopio, Finland and moved to Canada in the summer of 2007.
